The Lenora Apr 2019
I remember you
I wonder if you too
Can remember me
And the things that symbolized
What we danced through
Before times would fall upon us
To cause mass destruction

The Lenora Apr 2019
I hear the banshees cry
They bring in such a state of mind
In the middle of the night
Belonging to blissful release
Not so much sorrow

I hear the banshee's cry
It is a surprise
But one I will accept
Screeching alongside
My past
written 21 April 2019.

The Lenora Apr 2019
today
the sky is as clear as a glass window
with animated fluffy clouds
parting way for the sun to come through
and shine light on a new day
filled with cleansing for the ignorant

but here I lie
unable to move
due to my sorrow
but I too
can still look out
and enjoy the sky
even if my own ignorant soul
has yet to be cleansed

The Lenora Apr 2019
Today the cool breeze
Turns into rapid wind
Blowing air over the world
To ease the pain from yesterday

Sharp pain dulls the heart
And fire burns away hope
Helplessness and fear
Consume the souls of many
As dread drags on

But today the cool breeze
Turns into a rapid wind
To put to sleep
The agonizing sorrow

The Lenora Apr 2019
The thrill of the windy air
Runs through my veins
As my excitement
Drips from a dark and gloomy
Room
Filled with wonder of the past
And future,
All the horrors combined
So that happiness
Is an illusion
That dominates my will
written 10 April 2019.

The Lenora Apr 2019
Pushed and drag
For miles
By the smoke-filled darkness
That I too
Now obtain smoke within my own darkness

My dreams show me images
Foreign to the naked eye
But to the immersed soul
Familiarly flows through veins
