Its a surreal feeling when you finally find acceptance.

When you find a supportive community of like minded individuals.

When you no longwr have to beg for recognition or seek acceptance from those who turn away from your art.

It takes one individual to fill someone with hope,
Two can bring faith.
And three can bring acceptance.

It takes five to spark a flame,
And ten can bring another day.

What could be done with 50 or 100?
A foundation for a poet so solid,
Where he can happily write until the margin.

It's an apocalypse left in the wake,
of the COVID-19 outbreak.
But little can stop the enduring soul,
of an America left with one goal.
As doctors, retail, and truckers ensure,
America will once again live by its core.
A thank you to those who risked their lives,
to ensure that freedom never dies.
And to those who are left stranded and unsure,
aid those who seek a cure.
Together as one we can beat this beast,
that seeks to bring the world to it's knees.
