Amaryllis
Hailey Jun 2021
Amaryllis what to say about you, representing pride and blooming anew. So many colors never being able to choose, I wonder if I can find so that come in Blue Hues.

The petals soft and delicate to touch, Though you can survive almost anywhere Fragile yet tough.

Rarely heard of but your name means so much, A flower thaat stands for beauty a diamond in the rough.

Forget Me Nots
Hailey Jun 2021
Forget Me Nots, so delicate and perfect with their beautiful shade of light blue. Mesmerizing the world with their Outer Worldly Hues.

As blue as the sky we admire up above, Standing for Remembrance of the people we care for and love, for the people we see around us each day, and for the people our subconscious minds hold in memories good or bad they are kept either way.

Aurora Polaris.
Hailey Apr 2021
Aurora Polaris, The lights that streak the sky like a painters careful brush, Delicately and Intricately Coloring the night sky in chaotic beauty.

The Lights that have been admired and revered for so long even though they are so far away, a longing is always felt when they meet a gaze.

The Light That Dazzles us from Above, that amaze us with wonder high above the frozen tundra.

My Sweet Hiraeth
Hailey Apr 2021
I miss the home I've never been to, the warmth of the house that I've never seen.

The Nostalgia and Yearning for a place I've only been to in dreams or Fantasies. Something so Familiar My mind can't register it's not in reality.

The Home that never was, My Sweet Hiraeth

Help Me
Hailey Mar 2021
I look up fear in my eyes, feeling the tears roll down my face as I look up and admire the sky.

My lungs feel tight I can hardly breathe, It's like I'm under water even though I'm so far from the sea.

The light in my eyes start to go dim, as I wonder if I should just let them win.

My anxiety seems to have taken priority, not knowing if I should Fight or  Flee as I see escape Disappearing before me.

My scars on display for all to see, feeling as if I am in a glass case for to poke and **** at like A some new exhibit who is just there to please.

Ignored Instincts
Hailey Mar 2021
You touch scared me, I should have trusted My instincts screaming at me.

You cornered Me, I should've trusted my instincts begging me to flee.

You grabbed me, My instincts giving me the strength I needed to break free.

I might've won that day, But I will never get back what your touch stole from me.

Bones.
Hailey Mar 2021
You said you'd protect me even though you clipped my wings, The scars still hurt I can feel them sting.

You told me to quiet down, Now I know you just wanted to hide what you were doing from a crowd.

You told me it was for my own good, that I need to listen. I still can feel myself shake whenever you barge in.

I still feel the pain in my bones, even now that I have grown.

I was afraid of touch for far to long, all cause you lured me in with your siren song.

I still feel the pain in my cheeks, From you or my tears Is something I debate each and every week.

My fight and flight response is now deadly, getting so scared whenever a friend just talks loudly from behind me.

I will survive though for I am strong, I have let you affect me for way to long.

You have no more control over me I'm not sorry to say, my mind and body now my own not your instruments to play. Yea.

My Love.
Hailey Mar 2021
I lose myself in your eyes, like storm clouds darkening a clear sky.

You always know just what to say, no matter Sunset or Sunrise Or Anytime Of Day.

Your smiles amazes me, So bright stunning anyone lucky enough to see.

Your heart so kind even though you think it's dark, I hope someday you see that you are a work of beautiful art.

So ******* yourself saying things so untrue, I wish you could see the greatness that lies in you.

Oh how it hurts to see you so sad, all I can do is show you there's more good then bad.

You keep your head up your confidence glowing, I wish you weren't so afraid of your other emotions showing.

I see the brave face you put on day by day, I see the pain that forms from the cracks on the rough days.

You say you never cry you time and again, though know if you ever do I'll be there to wipe them away no matter where or when time and time again The Tell You It'll Be Ok And Watch Your Amazing Smiles Appear Again.

You say expect the worst and the worst still happens, Though I could list you reasons to throw your saying where the trash is,

I can hear the fear when you mention me leaving, though I'm still surprised that your not the one already fleeing.

Please listen to my words I swear to you it's true, You are the best thing to happen to me in awhile and I will always love you.

Promise To Remember Me.
Hailey Mar 2021
Promise me a place in your memories when I'm gone. Even when I'm gone. Even when I've been forgotten for so long.

Remember My smile, Remember my laugh, please forget my tears when things got bad.

I'm sorry I left but I felt so small, it wasn't your fault not at all.

My love, My world, My stars, My moon I'm so sorry I couldn't Hold out for you.

Don't blame yourself it wasn't you but me, and maybe a bit of society.

I'll see you someday Hopefully not too soon. Please don't let me fade, I'll always love you.

Funny.
Hailey Mar 2021
I still feel the years of abuse on my mind.

I still feel the dried tears on my face to this day, as if they were tattooed onto the surface of my skin.

I still hear the echos of screams as I locked my door Barricading it with what I could cause I Knew you had the keys to the house and my heart.

I Remember my world spinning when I came back to it, after daydreaming of being in different realities.

Your lies almost killed me, and you thought it was funny.
