Sukkah Jan 15
In winter's grasp, where snowflakes sway
A lone flame flickers, night and day
The last ember, in a world gone grey
A beacon bright, in a frozen way

No spark remains, to rekindle might
No flame can rise, in the endless night
The world is cold, and darkness clings
Yet this one fire, still warmly sings

In the silence, it crackles and spits
A defiant blaze, that refuses to quit
A symbol of hope, in a desolate land
A burning reminder, of a warmth that once was grand

No human hand, can rekindle the flame
No mortal spark, can bring back the warmth and the light again
This fire stands alone, in the frozen vast
A solitary sentinel, of a warmth that will forever last.

But then I see, a fire that's divine
A flame that burns, with a love so truly mine
It's the fire of salvation, that burns bright and true
A flame that's lit, by the love of Jesus, shining through.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

This fire of salvation, it burns deep inside
A flame that guides me, through the darkest night
It's the love of Jesus, that sets my soul on fire
A burning passion, that never fades or tires.
Talking about the only capable Fire
Sukkah Jan 15
"My beloved Patience, you are as beautiful as Tirzah, lovely as Jerusalem, and as awesome as an army with banners. Your eyes are like the pools of Heshbon, your lips are like a thread of scarlet, and your love is like a garden of spices. You are my rose, my lily, my everything. Your patience and love captivate my heart. Forever yours, my love."
To a Damsel called PATIENCE.
To a Woman
To a Wife
To a girlfriend
To a Best friend
To a Sister
Sukkah Jan 15
Oh, damsel of serene and peaceful charm,
Your beauty beckons, dispelling alarm.
In your presence, my soul finds a nest,
A haven of tranquility, where love finds rest.

The cravings of peace, you satisfy with ease,
A sweetness that overflows, bringing me to my knees.
I search for words to express the depths of my heart,
Yet, in your lovely presence, words depart.

What should I do? I'll bask in your radiant glow,
Drinking in the beauty that only you can show.
What should I say? My words would only pale,
Compared to the sweetness that your love conveys.

You are a gem, a treasure to behold,
A masterpiece of beauty, crafted by love's hand to mold.
In your lovely eyes, my heart finds a home,
A place of peace, where love forever roams.
To you!
Sukkah Jan 15
In the hollow of my chest, a void resides
A chasm deep, where shadows hide
Heartache's heavy chains, they bind and weigh
A burden borne, night and endless day

The whispers of what's past, they echo and roam
A relentless refrain, a haunting, mournful tone
Regrets and doubts, they creep and crawl
A darkened garden, where love's flowers once stood tall

Overthinking's maze, a labyrinth to explore
A path that winds, with no escape in store
The what-ifs and maybes, they swirl and eddy
A maelstrom of emotions, in turmoil, I'm lost at sea

But then I found a lifeline, a beacon in the night
A scripture that shone bright, and guided me to new light
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord
“Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

In this promise, I found peace, a calm within the storm
A trust that God's plans are good, and His love will forever form
A light that shines, a love that heals
A heart that's restored, and a soul that's made whole and real.
