You had a perfect picture in your mind
Of the life, you wanted to find
I swear you are ignorant and blind
All you did was call me kind

You told me we did not mesh
Because I was not decisive enough
This knocked me down so I could not express
And it made me opening myself rough

I was scared you would think I was lying
Even though it would just be me trying

After a while, I sat and thought
We had the same target, but different methods of attack
We could have been the perfect team, But I was afraid to spark it
Now I sit here writing in ink that is black

A lack of communication which I realize is from me
But I could not explain, because I can not explain what I foresee
If I explain, the Universe becomes rash
And my life begins to crash

I guess I am selfish
And wanted to relish

But due to my lack of speech
I no longer feel like putting my hand out to reach
My hands are tied and there is nothing I can do
So, I am just sitting here writing out this review

Sixty - five percent is all I have
Of a life which is truly mine
The other thirty-five is a game of roulette which I did not wish to play
But it is my responsibility to live through it and act fine

The thirty-five percent are full of lives which are not mine
I have to know and experience them without knowing why
Because the Universe never chooses to give me a sign
So all I can do is cry

At last I can finally breathe
No one telling me what to do
When I know exactly what I need
At last I can put my  choices to the test
Even if they fail
I will know it is for the best
But I will stand tall when they prevail

When I first saw you, I knew there was more to know
Even though I knew you well, you would not let any of it show
You were my other half, perfectly completing me
My total opposite though that you could not see
A love that could have been so strong
Lost because it could have gone terribly wrong

Years later here we are
Both standing quite a distance far

Meeting on the battleground
Swiftly preparing for the final round
You bare your gun the same as your troop
I never thought you would go so low to stoop
I stand across from you with courage and poise
Protecting my people while making no noise

We look into each other's eyes wondering how we ended up here
Feeling as if we were looking at a forgotten reflection in a mirror

You aimed your gun like you were trained to do, to shoot anything in your way
The shot was fired and your path cleared, burning any good left in you leaving me with no words left to say

A puzzle which is to be built
The pieces scattered across time
For a reward among-st all my guilt
Lies the punishment for a victim-less crime

Each piece a different clue
Leading nowhere to which I see
But all I ask is who?
And is it truly meant to be?

I can feel you in my dreams so real
Is it all a harsh trick of my mind?
Or am I being showed the real deal?
There is so much more left to find

Still pieces away from being complete
Hinting at a delicate fate
I hope one day we are blessed enough to meet
But in the mean time I guess I will wait

My thoughts are drifting away
I can feel my whole body start to sway
You're hard as hail
I am debating whether to bail

You are a force so strong
Destroying everything in front of you
Creating chaos pretending to do no wrong
It is the only thing you seem to do

You are the storm in my head
Bearing the thunder and the lightening
Using the rain that falls to drown out what you said
In a tornado, we stand enduring Fujita five fighting

You can be the eye of the hurricane
Clear all the clouds away
Bring a fresh breeze which makes me sane
Pausing and holding out for just the day

The story keeps playing going on and on
Moving so fast that you don't know
You feel so lost that you just want to let go
Most of the time you just want to rewind
Figure out the things you missed the first time
Think them through before you skip to the next scene

With the start of a dove
We will never be kept apart
That is just too hard
I see myself in you When I look in your eyes

We could never talk
But gravity has me near you

I guess it is the heart of love
Together we are state of the art
We play the same cards
I'll be with you until we part
