I see shadows in the corner
Running figures down the hall
Children peaking past the door
Young ones bouncing *****

They come to greet me
Now and then
They make me feel okay again
I'm the one they won't betray
They are the ones that I can trust
The ones I wish were you
But to forget you, I must

They replace you in my head
They replace you in my heart
They hold a special place, even in my darkest parts
So maybe I should get some sleep now
Before they come again
Because just for now..
I'll forget you were once
My Special friend

In the dark
I can hear your heart

We will never be afraid again

As I wish on a star

I'm hoping love with lead me
             right to where you are

There are so many
people out there
under this night
sky gifted with
happiness and
afflicted with
suffering

But the
same strong
wind
blows over
us all.

Summer capes the sky in red
Splashing water, Teens widespread.

You gave me a helping hand
into deaths sweet embrace

It's all because of you
I've gotten to know the meaning of love...

You must do what must be done
For this, my last battle, can't be won

Sometimes you become lost
you lose sight of what's in front of you
until the people who love you
your friends, and family, start calling out to you
they scream for you in hopes you'll hear them
and go find them again

Than there are people out there
who are just there for a short time
they're there to help you find your way
back to those who are calling you
after you've gotten lost

Those people are the most lucky
because they've gotten to see the side of you
that not many have seen

The kind of people who would pick an abandoned
animal off the street
whose hurt and wounded
and just needs affection till it can get on its feet again
than those people send that animal off
back to where it belongs,
to the people who are calling for them

Sometimes, there are those who are worth
getting lost for

There are those who from the beginning
Have always been long gone

While the others in the shadows
Have shone brilliantly all along

Concealing in a corner
      Pressed up against the wall
      can they even see me
      do they know I'm here at all?

I never got the book
        to tell me who to be
        what to say and mimic
        like everyone else I see

As a flower I will wilt
        longing for the sun
        deprived of the cold water      
         hoping to be someone

The states and the races are all jumbled together
Territory changes from hand to hand;
Mankind stirs up strife again and again.

What's this heat I feel within
The one hitting all my nerves

It seems whenever you're around
It really starts to burn

I'm begging for some cool relief  
But wait, stay where you are

Because I'm sure if you come closer
It'll surely leave a scar

A moment everyone risk's for
A Short time you and I mend together
That little part in time . . That little part everyone wishes for
That Short little moment, is Love .

To be able to halt time
Spare a second to give a bit of their heart to a person
Yet I wonder, what is the point of this feeling when it only ends someday
What is the goal of simply sharing your time with lovers
When that precious time could have been spent with important matters
Is love just a sufficient way to fill up an Insatiable being
Or a quick way to let time slip by without the result
of being hopeless and alone

Now I see, this love is for the world to share
As the Gardener gives flowers love to grow
As so does the Mother to the Child
What would we do without this moment in time,
Called Love ?

Is it really a crime
     If it's all in your mind?

The thin threads search in the dark

The thin threads search for one another to entwine with

These thin threads binding their victims forcefully

Realism and Escapism paste over your mind

Now it's time to fall in love

Lazily I fall into your arms
No longer am I stopped from the others alarms

I loved him so dearly , well thats what I thought
Yet , throughout our adolescence we were never taught

That even in the most hidden lies
The truth will always shine
And  we must move on through time

But that was the past
And today is today
And lazily Ill lay
in the new arms whom found me
and here I will stay .

She couldn't understand why people wasted their time being in love
She had plenty of other things she could do with her time

He couldn't understand how people couldn't waste some time being in love
He didn't have many things to do with his time

How can you waste your time doing such silly things? She said
How can you not? He replied
Falling in love, spending time with that person, your time is thrown away to the wind. She couldn't understand
That wind flies it to it's Timekeeper. He understood

I don't have a timekeeper. A hint of animosity in her voice
I don't have any time. A hint of hint of intimation in his voice

Motivation
Amazement
Impatient
Expectations

All the things I seem to feel.

Wait, did I take my Medication?

I've already gone too far
Now there's no going back

And no matter how much regret
lays on my shoulders

I can't go back

Perhaps I don't hate you for changing
And leaving your old shell
Maybe, just perhaps I'm jealous
that I'm the girl, who couldn't change herself.

I was happy that only I knew
            the true side of you.

If you fall
    get up as if it were your first time falling down

If you can understand my poems
I'm sure you can understand me
Because everything I can't say for those to hear
I write for others to read.

Unrequited love for these three
torturous years of my life

Welcome to my mind
Where words will tear you down
Ensnare you in a trap
and leave you just to drown

Welcome to my heart
Where love ceases to reside
And any hopeful feelings
Are stolen by the tides

Now that you've come to know me
And all I've come to be
Do you still wish to find out
If I'm more than what you see.

As do you , so do I
I wish to become a poet with a keen eye

To let the pen flow with all of my words
To write of different places, and different worlds.

Take those who seek to escape for the while
And leave with a vivid, live smile

Though it may be far off, I shall dream
Dream of all possibilities I could someday come to be.

Don't lose who you are
        Just keep wishing on stars

She wanted a little freedom
So she created her own world
She wandered a little
Still not enough for her
So she wandered a little more till
She couldn't wander anymore
She had wandered so far
She honestly had forgotten her way back
So she stayed there
In her own little world

A bruise will heal
   it doesn't last
   it will leave me as I was

A wound though
   will leave it's mark
   it'll leave a scar across my heart

So if I had to say which you are
   I'd have to say
   you are a scar

Writers block clouds my mind
And all I can do is wait in time

An empty paper
An ink filled pen

An unclear head
And no idea where to begin

Life is full of little stories
Even one for you and me
And only we'll decide
What kind of Genre
our stories will be

Leaving someone behind
Or being left behind

Which is  more painful?
