Here now
Abi Sep 2023
It's still here,
better *** I'm older but still here.
It breathes now.
Talks now,
looks at me now.
Almost walks like me now.
I tried to leave it at home, but it caught up with me.
It says it's not too heavy to carry.
He caught it at some point,
told it to stop.
And then he left.
It says hi.
Abi Feb 2021
Before fóvos stood fright -- witnesses,
Their fear of fóvos sequestered no longer
Or in sooth forever.
One by one the witnesses took the stand, like sheep to be herded
To testify against fóvos.
The clergy feared secularity with a raging fire to be tied to by the hip
The kings and nobles feared a state of anarchy like an illegitimate child claiming its throne
The StoneMason feared a blunder in its sculpting of the hard untamed surface soft by its form
The BlackSmith feared a dull tool without it’s soul to drive its purpose
The Tailor feared a loose stitch that would expose the wearer
The Carpenter feared weak wood never to be fortified by another
The Fisher feared a raging sea that brought the reaper aboard
The Baker feared a lesser oven that rendered the flour a ******.
To appease fright, an imprisoning of fóvos.
To be hidden till proven to exist,
To be the one,
The master of fright.
The one oh so Brave and Fearful
So Candid yet feigned
Credulous yet cynical
The one to be whomever
Yet Nobody.

Revolution
Abi May 2020
It's a revolution
The dead cry out for unjust justice
Secrets and lies covering reality
The black veil is slipping off
Too late to cower and hide
The recompense of the evil
Would be a nations worth
Crimes against the masses
Against the globes euphoria
It's time to reimburse mortals

It's a revolution
The women cry for equality
Atrocities,misogyny
Male chauvinist pig
Defiled seek vengeance
Sexists should vanish
Women shining bright and proud
Vanquished in your egotistical asylum

It's a revolution
The earth cries for restoration
Destruction from reformation
we slowly drain her of life
Chipped wood and flattened vastness
Broken ice and drowning bears
The bipolar anomaly
Rain dance sun drop
Winters heat and summers freeze

It's a revolution
The animals going extinct
Their cries we hear no more
poaching and hunting for these limited editions
build sanctuaries and imitate their terrain
lock em up in cages for people to see them happy
happy in  their natural habitat
man-made perfectly for their convenience
we forget they were born to the wild
wild with no confinement or rules
living a natural unmonitored life in the wilderness

Are these all wishes to
the cure for THE cancer
cancer growing in size and strength
but not growing ours minds
to accomodate and integrate
that which it deems different and alien
just because it does not understand it
what a backward way of thinking
for a race that existed since dawn
not as smart as we thought we were
'*** we're missing sight of the big picture
that's staring us right in the face.

Whalers of Greece
Abi Apr 2020
The walls adorned with ashy white and blue
A wet lick would bring the icy fronts to my tongue.
Like a seachant a sailor sang
As the ships lay to waste in the clutches of the grainy lands,
The aquatic waters dancing on by the visitor
Here to stay but a bit or forever.
The corridors of the throat as dry as a canyon,
Lost and beaming under a blasphemous sun.
The separation of the naturals
One to have the other and the other to not
Woe - Doom I say.
The whaling whalers whale swept ashore
The blubber of greed choking the lantern,
Waves dousing the fire in a firefly.
The featherless birds over head sing their Ode,
Elergy unbrandished before Salt and Colt.
Whaling of those years

Triple Frontier (The Movie)
Abi Mar 2020
His body wrapped
Still and lifeless
Still and greedy
Still and worried
Still and dead
pITy

The guilty had fled
Escaped
Eloped with death
A better or worse fate
The money over the cliff

Why?
He did it for it
No
He did it because of it
Money

I Need U
Save Me
So What

The Ritualistic Cleanse
Abi Mar 2020
Look good,feel good,play good
The coaches mantra
A hymnal for the young men
Sunday best
That first impression impression

An incline to please
A desire to sway
An urge to please
A limit in vocab is an art of itself

A service of fools
I'm sorry to say
Amongst them I breath
Being the biggest of all.

Lacking and lagging in my contribution
Contribution I deem to be sacred.
So much so that I dress my best
Present myself
Denounce my thoughts
Proclaim my faith
Project my voice
Unfulfilled hypocrisy
A tradition to follow
A guilt to continue
Pushed by unseen force
Unseen force with no force.

Unmask the guilt
The force disappears
Sunday best unhinged
My attendance unchecked
A battle field in my bind - mind
Blame it on the bloodshed
Guilt still residing
Conclusion,Remembrance

A humanistic urge to please
Unneeded before His pure eyes
Eyes that see before we seen
Trouble in our wasted efforts.
Even after the halt we go on.

A body prepared as a Sunday best
The garments unhinged
The body on the field
The battlefield with all the bloodshed.

Sunny Side
Abi Feb 2018
Sunny sunshine beams
Flatter splatter birds in air
Fresh breeze blowing
From the west to east
Perfect day for a picnic
Enjoying life without stress
Lay back and relax
Let go of all care
No time to waste
*** all day we have fun

Darker days i've seen
Crows circling above
All still with no motion
From the east to west
Perfect day to be detached
Living on with stress
Stay up and ponder
Take in all and untwine
All day in thoughts
Everyday is a new wound

I'm okay i'm fine
Just say that with a smile
They won't notice
Should i tell someone
No,they won't understand
They will laugh at me
It's all to be said
With no hope for egress
Conceal and don't show
Be good as you have to be.

Pain My Old Friend
Abi Feb 2018
Pain and I are long time friends
Known each for the longest
He can be a bit aggressive
She tends to push me to my limits
He tries to break me down
But as a friend i know the truth
She is only trying to make me stronger

Breaking under the pressure
He won't ease up on me
I can't break down now
What does'nt **** you,
is said to make you stronger
But how long will it take
For me to get stronger

Endurance,inspired by anything
To keep me going till the end
Keeping my chin up
Telling me its okay
Without this 'spiration
Could i make it through the night
It keeps me wondering

If i feel numb, what does it mean
Getting used to the pain?
Is that a good thing?
I should feel the gut wrenching pain
I should cry till i can no more
But i feel no pain
Guess i've been hurt too much to care

Feeling these things
Make me human
Not feeling these things
What does that make me?
Do i need to feel ultimate pain
To make me remember how to hurt
Do i really need to?

Final resolution,pick one
Pain by a broken heart
Pain by loss of a life
Pain by rejection
Pain by failure
Which of these i wonder,
Would be my poison.
No pain no gain

Death To Death
Abi Jan 2018
From death to death i fall
As i try to get up i fail
I know why it hurts so much
'*** i keep em all in a bunch
I bundle them all inside
Sometimes despising everyone in sight
Help,i'm going way down low
Way down low till i bow

Ease up the tension
Have fun and show affection
Put on a smile
More like a sham
Smiles covering the hurt and pains
Faking it till i make it
Trying to hold out past noon.
It will all be over soon

Suicidal?,No i'm not
My mind might be in knots
But not twisted enough for that
I'm stronger than that
I'm not just living for me
I have people that care for me
They might not be here now
But in my thoughts i know

Always been a warrior
But when i look in the mirror
I only see the face of who i was
The real me is washed away
I don't recognise the stranger i see
Looking back at me with glee
What has happened to me
This big change has broken me.

Learning to live with it
Picking the pieces back to fit
But every glass i pick i get a cut
But i have to bear the pain and hurt
If i really want me back
Me now even with tears and crack
Well no time to weep
My reward i guess, for being weak.

White Lands
Abi Jan 2018
For miles and miles
All I see are white lands
A lost wanderer in the wilderness
A cold wintery journey in mountains high up
What adventure lies in nature's death cold
From every angle I look, far out are white lands
For miles and miles.

Two-Faced
Abi Jan 2018
This is your face or is it not?
Two-sided face and one's to rot
Show me the face or would you not?
A face or a black pit of thorns and knots
Where serpents in shadows dwell a lot
But still you show a face where your demons lie not.

Broken Chains
Abi Jan 2018
Free me,break these chains of *******
Chains that bound and confine me to rules
Shackles that control me against my will
Fetters that make me submit to emotions
Irons that make me less humane, free me
Till all that's left are broken chains.

The Beauty of The World
Abi Jan 2018
The beauty of the world
Is upright and bold
It can not be told when to fold
But it's all in vanity
For those not caught in insanity
Be weary,be cautious
Don't be caught unconscious
Also don't be too suspicious
Of the beauty of the world.

The beauty of the world
If you could see it in the old
Was worth more than gold
Imagine the garden of Eden
Where no beauty is hidden
Plants and trees were blooming
No animal was gloomy
You don't need to be told
To imagine the beauty of the world

The beauty of the world
In this modern age
Looks like it's filled with rage
Of humanity's destruction of mother earth
She looks like she is struggling to breath
Waiting patiently to unleash her wrath
If only we'ld stop to think
What we've done in a blink
To the beauty of the world.
