Remember
Asha Kimo Dec 2019
Remember the moment
When you felt uncertain
Questioning life's rules
And why it has been cruel
Wanting the agony
To just go away
You felt like no choice
Was given to you
Forgetting that not everything
Is just handed to you
So you pick up the blade
And you slice your skin
Freeing the pain
Remember the peace
Watching the blood drip
With such sweet release
Numbing the anguish
That comes when you feel
Hating the voices that whisper
Your weak
But every scar heals
After it leaks

Remember that day
That just paved the way
For all of the monsters
To make you forget you
Remember that man
That claimed your free will
He took you by force
He made you despise you
Remember the demons
That you tried to hide
Escaping the bottle
That you lock inside
Releasing the words
That make you alive

Remember that feeling
A feeling so small
Feeling so helpless
Because you weren't tall
Now do you remember the fact
That you are still here
Those monsters are out there
But you should not care
If Belief was a shield
You'll never stay bare
An armor Faith healed
Will always be there
Those monsters are not you
I know life's not fair
You've made you become you
So remember I care
We're all here within you
Remember we're there
The voices inside
Are the voices that care
One body, one mind
Yet the soul we all share

Remember the moment
That caused you to smile
Remember the feeling
It might take a while
Remember the feeling
That caused you to see
That not all men out there
Are the monsters you've seen
With blinded closed eyes
It gets hard to see
That beautiful lies
Do not come for free
A price is a cost
That comes with a fee
A hefty large sum
You must pay to Me
I mean to yourself
You see how hate comes
A backward wrong thought
And now truth is lost
And that is the cost
Remember the wrought
And never get caught
You teach what is taught
or I'll leave you with naught
My fight has been fought

Remember september
When you held your son
The feeling you can't name
It's too big words
The feeling you now know
Truly has worth
Remember that day
You knew with such certain
That all of your misery
Has brought you that moment
Remember the first time
You looked into his eyes
That feeling you can't name
It lives in your son's eyes
And everytime he sees You
It just like the time
You held him and realized
That feeling, is not a crime
Remember confusion
A mind overload
A struggle. you're losing
All your control
You're trying, you're doing
All on your own

Remember the man
That made you believe
That you were worth more
Than what you believe
Remember what he said
About what you hold inside
The power of your words
Should not be kept inside
Remember that man
And how he has changed
The way that you view life
By simply being kind

Remember the twelfth day of april
Its been a year since you wrote this poem
Your daughter's now here
Yes life has moved on
The struggles the pain
It never lasts long
Remember the hell you went through that year
The monsters the drugs
Your soul disappeared
You died and came back
And now you will heal
As god is your witness
You will persevere
Just look into her eyes
When you start to forget
Remember she sees you if no one else will
Remember she needs you
Your her world her key to
The life she deserves
Its her fate that you hold
So stay strong and don't fold

Remember the words
That you have to say
The words that can help
Those feeling this way
Remember the pain
And how there’s no vain
For every memory
Just helps pave the way
For you to remember
That It's not in vain
A life has two paths
You live or you pass
So choose or move fast
Or this You won't last
Now remember this poem
It will help you remember
Remember the times
That you can't remember

New years eve
Asha Kimo Jan 2020
What if when the ball drops on new years.
Everyone watching. Every person tunes in for a different reason. To all come together and change yourselves, make a vow that when the new year comes . we swear to change our ways, open our eyes, and rebuild faith. No more war or hate, leave only peace in its place. Imagine that. A new year for a new world.

Right my wrongs
Asha Kimo Dec 2019
The fast die young
But maybe the young die old
Maybe the ones who can't speak
Are the ones that are never told
Maybe the ones that are blind
Are the ones that are never shown
And sometimes the ones that cry
Are the ones with no voice
Maybe the ones that truly stand
Are the ones with no feet
And the ones that always lose
Are the ones that can't keep
Maybe this world is truly backwards
What we think is what we know
If that truly is the case
Then we are in for show
Because right would be wrong
And wrong would be right
And can do is cannot
And can be would be scarce
So then no becomes yes
And yes becomes scared
What if Belief was all wrong
And we Believe what is not
But the truths stay Untold
So Belief becomes Sought
And the lies become sold
To the ones that don't know
And we say what Can Not
We do what Should Not
But we are what we are
So we do what we do
Dreading day after day
Praying please get our way
But His eyes are all seeing
So the Lord hears our prayers
And the answer to Why
Is the question we know
Yet still we blindly try
Even though the case is closed
And we can't live in peace
If the chaos lingers close
To our heart and our minds
Turning weakness into kind
Kindness shows who He owns
When we begin to forget
All the favors we owe
For a loan is a loan
You must pay or your shown
How the door never waits
If you crawl like a troll
And how time is never still
It you watch very slow
In order to obtain success
you must change yourself
and be the person
you wish to see in the mirror everyday Otherwise you lose sight
of what's important and become
the person you wish you never knew

Dream
Asha Kimo Mar 2020
I have a dream
Of complete unity
I have found that the answer was always inside of me
I questioned myself
My life and my path
Threw away religion
The past is the past
Now i live in a different reality
One that I made to better humanity
When i close my eyes and dream
A hand holds out for me
Another follows
Then three
And when i see the souls i hold
They all name the truth they were told
Christianity
Islam
Judaism
Hinduism
Buddhism
Then a lonely voice joins our stronghold
I am the one to who the truth was never told
We all join our hand
And bow our head
And tune the mind
To the self. Divine.
God forgive our sin. Forgive our mistake. Forgive the world you gave us we put at stake.
As my voice rings clear and true
The others join and theirs sing too
A new anthem to a new tune
As the world below rejoices. Truth
You can hear one prayer from billions of voices. One belief. Whole truth. That is my dream. Unite with me.

Love Lives On
Asha Kimo Dec 2019
A lie is better told
When the truth was never heard
But when your ears are blind with tears
Then the heart is kind to fears
And if love will hold on strong
Then our love will last on long
So believe that I believe
And forgive that I've deceived
And forget what I have said
For my head is not my head
And my soul has long been gone
Now it feels like you've withdrawn
With an empty piece of me
Now the fruit falls to my feet
So like Adam and his tree
I bite into what is sweet
Though forbidden it may be
I try to forget that there's no We
And Me, Myself, and I
Are as broken as the Sky
As she weeps when there's no clouds
For without white we are not proud
There's no shade to hide the pain
There's no mercy to be gained
From a heartless broken world
But the broken parts we'll purl
For all my life my hearts been broke
Lonely tears my throat stayed choked
But when you came and fell in love
With a girl that has never loved
I can forget what all you've done
If you can forgive the love I shuned
Because that is what love should be
And it has all been taught to me
From a man that will forever stay
The only man who has made me brave
The only man who has given me
All the love I will ever need
The only man who has made me see
How truly beautiful I could be
The only person that I believe
The only one I won't deceive
So for that my thanks I give
And for you my love still lives
Asha Kimo Dec 2019
A river falls across my face
The story's mine but someone says
To seek into that dark deep place
Which held the tears that weren't in place
But locks won't lock without a key
So now I'm stuck with misery
She's made herself my company
At this dreadful table set for three
But when I peek right to my left
The empty spot has now been fed
With the souls that can't be led
Righteous paths their journeys dead
So now their lonely lives they'll shed

A river bleeds onto my face
It caused my voice to drown again
Because of this I go astray
And pave a path that I can gain
I'll walk across that endless road
And rewrite histories foul code
But blindingly I went too far
And ended up in limbos heart
Where Satan dwells and waits for prey
The trap he set will catch the fray
But when he shuts his evil eye
Our world will purge his truthful lies
With nothing but our minds insane
He reaps the sorrow that's brought shame
For judgment day has long been came
When God designed this fixed chess game
He made our lives the lowly stake
a higher price will come his way
With kings and queens on royal slings
The knights protect misguided beings
And fortress castles built of flames
Hide the bishops sins and shames
Two faced souls come out to play
When demons have their long due day
As we the pawns become their hunted prey

A rivers flows into my heart
He steals the path that i have wrought
My soul has left his web is caught
The silk I've webbed has played the part
He left a darkness I can't forsake
And everytime I try to wake
The dark abyss is hard to take
With sinful songs of things so deep
They sing the life they wish to keep
The Devil cries a silent weep
My mind is torn I won't Believe
For every black sheep wears a sheet
That masks the scent of their deceit
The eyes will see what's there to see
And leave us blind so helplessly

A river ran into the sky
And chased the angels that have died
He wrote their sins with bright white tears
Into the nights with spots of fear
Connect the dots and you will see
The stories that will never be
Our knowledge taught so miserably
For man knows only his history
But what about that vast big land
That shelters demons till the end
They sit and wait for our approach
Never knowing we have been coached
On what to say and what to do
But we take ourselves for a fool
We can't control what we can't see
So open eyes it's time you see
Emotions aren't what's really real
But what's inside can never heal
Until you've played it's all surreal

A river tired to be my friend
He told me secrets of the end
He whispered lies like they were true
And I believed and missed the clues
A foe's a friend that's never seen
What lies awaiting behind the scenes
So when you share your deepest thoughts
Don't forget who else will watch
For Devil sends his lustful crew
To destroy the ones who always do
His ***** work and that is You
So be aware of what's not there
It's the only way you will survive
If you clutch your sanity as if it lives
It becomes a piece of broken steel
And builds a wall around your heart
So the lonely you can never part
Yet like a snake it winds and winds
And chokes the life you thought was right
A wrongs a wrong that can never be
So believe the pain you stay to fight
Even though it tried to flee
The battle starts when you start to see

A river cried again today
He slashed the chains that held his pain
He threw away the good he felt
And only honor hang from his belt
The lonely man that never saw
Was kind to Evil manipulative thoughts
And even if no war was ever fought
Our sinful ways will bring the drought
And like the desert dry with bones
The rightful way is never sought
If wrongs a thing that feels so good
Then why do we blame wrong for good
Mistakenly we followed words
Of those before us that never could
Prove the history they swear was true
Prove the lessons they say we should,
Have learned from yesterday’s past mistakes
When tomorrow comes our lives at stake
And today can only come for sake
Yours or mine it’s all the same
Humankind must share the blame
The fault was yours or so they say
History coded our lives for fame
Destiny was paths we took
Led astray we fed the hook
And now our lives is it a book
One page forward write the hook
Never judge the cover or the back
You need to know all the facts
Unless you read it won’t make sense
So go ahead and take the chance
I wrote this poem to have a different point of view if you start to read from the very last sentence and work your way up. So read it both ways and see what you think

Big Brother
Asha Kimo Dec 2019
Waiting for change
But changing to wait
Hating to love
But loving to hate
Man contradicts the words that he says
Makes Bittersweet melodies
Of the wisest fools
Being cruel to be kind
Is the wisest tool but
Is there such a thing
As a just war?
Fighting and killing
In the name of love
To protect by taking
To give by hating
Is there such a thing
As a fine mess?
To cry while laughing
To smile while breaking
Is there such a thing
Is there such a life
Is there such a world
When the pain gets
Unbearable
When the world becomes
Numb
Fight through the day
For happiness to come
When you cry all the tears
When you pass through the years
Fight for the feeling
Of joy to come home
When your son goes to war
When you lose the ones you love
Fight everyday for
Their souls to go home
Fight everyday so you will overcome,
Being controlled
By things you believe
To be manipulated
By the things you achieve
Where is the line
That you should not cross
Where is the freedom
That you should not toss

Would you believe
The history you changed
The history you destroyed
The history you claim
Would you be watched
by the watcher's eye
Volunteering your watchful eyes
Why is it right to be wrong
Why is it wrong to be right
Hating the things you do not hate
Loving the people you secretly hate
You give up your life
Put it in Big Brothers hands
Expecting him to protect your stand
But he kills you with stupidity
He kills you with hate
Kills you with conformity
Then he Kills you by fate
Incompetent are the people
Ludicrous is there minds
How do they understand
When their all so very blind
Singing the same tune
It turns their voices blind
The home of the brave
The land of the slaves
The prison for blinds
When the enemies kind
The people with hope
Yet the people can't cope
Switching nonsense
Supplying it with more
Hating the government
Loving them more
Following the followers
Leading us all
Hating the enemies
Hating us all
Dehumanized people
"Equality for all"
Vaporized minds
Corruption they fall
Frowning, and crying
Smiling to fools
Breaking and drowning
And Laughing at school
You hide what you feel

You feel what you hide
Keeping emotions
Bottled inside
Then starts the game, everyone plays
One person spy's on another
To see what they need to see
The other spy's on the first
To hear what they need to hear
Then they spy on each other
And spy some more
Not knowing that their being spied on
But when it is the person who does the spying being spied then
The spyers spy some more
But the games gets confusing
To all that can’t play
Some take it seriously
And go all the way
A games just a game
That's what it was made to be
But don't trust the creator
Thats whos’ it was made to be
Big brothers roulette
Is the worst of the worst
The game with no end
And this world is the board

“The devil is a lie!”
Or is he the truth
That God can't deny
Is not the untruth
Is Heaven the gate
To Hell's tru doors
Do we have the fate
To truly control
How free is our will
If fate can't be shown
What is an Afterlife
If life is unknown
What is Faith
If Destiny's controlled
Why has our beliefs
Forbidden us to see
That life is so brief
But like the fruit on The tree
Were forbidden to feast
Forbidden to enjoy
All of life's treats
So we shout and we cry
And we scream till we die
“Take our misery!”
“Take our sufferance!”
“Grace us liberty!”
“Grace them conscience!”
Not knowing Free will
Is just a disguise
That hides their true lies
Hides true intentions
Gives wrong directions
Don't get caught in that web
Or like the fly that got fed
To the spider who trapped
And caught in its web
You will be eaten
You will be dead
Their Chaos bleeds control
Our Violence seeks peace
One without the other
Shall not Rest In Peace
So if the Devil is a lie
Then who is the truth
For the Devil shows himself
Is that not the truth

Dont Call Me Weak
Asha Kimo Dec 2019
Don't call me weak
Just because I always weep
For I know no other way
To express what I have to say

Don't label me blind
Just because I miss the signs
For my eyes are sealed shut
And those chains I've tried to cut

Don't tell me the sky's not blue
For still blind my mind is true
Nothing perfect ever dies
For prefect's not a part of life

Don't let me die alone
Just because I prefer to roam
By my lonely lonesome self
I'd prefer if someone else
Would keep me company
along the way
And hear out all I have to say
And let me free this burden from
All these chains that now feel numb

So Don’t call me selfish
When I decide to die
For a choice is a choice
And it happens to be mine
And I happen to see fine
Though sealed shut
with locks and cuffs
My eyes still see
Yes they happen to be free
And they have a mind of their own
It's the one that claimed my brains throne
It's the mind that shows me clarity
The mind that refuses charity
The mind that has seen
What Hell my life's been
The mind that has fought
And survived darkness and fraught
And with every ordeal
The same message is taught
They only one who's your friend
Is the you in your heart

Don’t say I've lost
My story is written in pain
The darkness is a cost
And every word is a gain

So don't call me weak
For every piece of me is strong
Every unremembered memory
Is my minds forgiven reverie
Every forgotten dream
Is the closure i need
The end to the chapter
The planting of a seed

Imagine a memory
Asha Kimo Dec 2019
Imagine the memories,
The thoughts you've hid,
The place you can't Remember,
someone you did, something you met,
a feeling you had
but now's lost you can't find
And the only key’s kept
locked deep in your mind.
Now imagine you're blind,
To the very fact that all those facts
all those stories, all those chapters
That have made you become You.
Weren't yours.
Imagine living it, but never
being there.
Imagine feeling it, but always
feeling bare.
Imagine seeing it, then your mind becomes aware
so you changes the story,
now You
were never there
Ever feel like someone else
was living your life for you.
Not a Higher Being
In the clouds living unaware
I mean the true essence of you
That your souls split and shares
One body, one mind
Storing all the personas
That make You one of a kind
When your emotions turn numb
And your chest beats like a drum
The wheels start to burn
As your souls take their turn
And a new place is made
For a new you to take
I mean she is the real You,
actually seeing your world
and your multiple tries
through you multiple eyes.
Reality triggers
our darkest Fantasy,
then make that Reality
But What's seen as real
isn't what actually
Real,
So we forget what we see
And remember no fear
I don't know what triggers it really, this “disease” we seem to have
Some say, it might be the mistakes
That Happen in life,
An irreversible moment
Forever engraved in time
Unchangeable choices,
The first chance was lost
The second one forgotten
And we ran out of straws
So we now pay the cost
For your mind creates another you
To get you through the chaos
To take your hand
And relinquish your fears
You inherit a different personality,
become a new character,
A version of you who was made to survive
A you who will only live to thrive
someone more stronger,
more creative,
More intuitive,
More appreciative
But then when it's all over,
when that part of your story ends,
your heart locks that you away.
Saving the key
for the day you will need it again.
Now I have a lot keys
And they open a lot of parts
But I fear that will be the start
For they don't need ever to be open.
Others are however an open door.
The hinges have collapsed
Forever more,
leading my sinful fears to my core
so I'm broken in pieces I can't control
And the puzzle is lost
Making my struggles a cost
And my mistakes mark
A hefty price on my heart

Running in place
Asha Kimo Dec 2019
Yes sometimes I’m lost
Confused on what I thought
Was true and was real
I believed what I feel
Walking in place
With a dark creepy taste
Intuition can't face
Realitys disgrace
Temptation was wrong
For Patience lives long
Now my Sanity takes a seat
As slowly my feet
Start to run after me
And I looked to my back
As I run for the start
And I see a dark man
Racing straight after me
my body starts to cry
My mind starts to fly
Memories come fast
My vision won’t last
His voice screams to run
Yet his face says hold on
This race is not fun
So even faster I move
O his soul I must lose
For every step I take
He takes two times two
My blood turns blue
Suddenly I can’t move any further
I look down and the ground seems closer
It opens and I’m thrown into fire
My mind says it’s okay but I know I’m a liar
The burn is worse than any pain that’s real
So I close my eyes and pretend to not feel
And I lock up my memories in a box of steel
The key I crush under my heel
And pray to god that hell is not real
But this fire keeps burning a bright white fear
Into my heart and breaks out tears
Reality is lost, mixed with clear
Fogs the mind with uncertainty
Never will you see clarity
Soon you lose all sanity
Talk yourself into charity
Burn and burn like serenity
Try to fight but it’s useless thoughts
That convince your soul into hopeless shots
Into the veins like clueless shame
Take the part it’s you to blame
The highs not worth your life today
Or the you that you’ve thrown away
So take back what you lost
mistakes, Never believe a foe
your trust should take
A seat on the throne with all you sake
It's hard to see, blinded no light
I'm starting to feel.
I lost my fight
Enemies hide inside plain sight
Never too late to turn to right
Right feels so wrong
When life just drags on
Wrong lingers and quietly reaps
In that forsaken closet you swore would keep
A broken lock the shame you sweep
A stronger persona you try, don't weep
If it's meant to be then it's meant to be
You can't change a path that's paved for me

Love is true
Asha Kimo Dec 2019
True love
Not the kind of love
that eventually becomes hate.
But the kind of love
that you hate to see die
Sometimes we see this kind of love
once in a lifetime,
sometimes never
However, if we are lucky enough to witness it,
We are too blind to see it
Until IT just disappears
So how do we hold onto
A thing we can not see
How do we measure
A thing that we were meant to feel
Why do we label
Something so diverse
So vast
That it means different things
To different people
That has a different hold
On each of us
Love is feeling that's made to be shared
Love is how we show that we care
Yes it makes us a little insane
The lines get blurred
Love becomes hate
But that’s just a name
To a feeling that's close to love
But we did not name it love
For a name is an important part
Of anything, and each of us
So don't put a tag
On what it is not
Once something is gone
It never comes back the same
Hold on what you have
We were all made to be insane
So love What you love
Love Who you love
Be Who you Love.
For That is true love

Awake
Asha Kimo Jan 2020
I have this urge inside me.
A passion,
A course
Set to take me outside myself.
And become the world.
My eyes are blind
My vision blurry.
But with my heart i see the hurry.
To change my ways,
To change myself.
By doing this I becAMe
the change i was meant to be.
The world awaits for me.
Here i come.
I set you free.
Remove my ego,
what is will be.
My spirit
aches,
awake,
she waits.
For me to realize what i can make. This world is mine for me to take. Time to restart.
Our past mistakes will not repeat. History is a blank sheet.
Waiting to be written with my feats.

I am not Insane
Asha Kimo Dec 2019
I'm lost so many ways to turn I don't know which way is Right anymore. confused so many beliefs I've learned I'm afraid my faith is broken. I'm frightened to be wrong about myself. that's life keeps me fearful of the future, concerned that I won't reach IT. worrisome as if my way is wrong forgetful at times that the past does repeat. constricted by the binds I put on myself. the chains with no locks I can't free myself the only Key is how I see myself. when I look into my eyes, I'm lifeless inside. I tried to warn myself but voiceless I cry. scream and beg and plead until I've torn my mind. the million little pieces it broken into are all traumatized. so I quickly pick them up, and store them, now I'm frozen in time. my heart never heals, it needs a chance but my pride won't give. so forever scarred is the way I live. if I let it control me, my soul is wounded, my spirit confined for all of time, and so I hurt inside. I'm hurtful when I hurt, and that causes me stress. I hate that I'm spiteful, I regret to be hateful, but I'm grieving! I'm absent. disoriented, like I'm watching a game on this limited screen. I'm limited to a person, restricted to one team. restrictions take hold become Forgotten Dreams. I'm blind When I Wake because I forgot what it takes, to dream. my house is disorganized it reflects my mind. I'm worried about the steps it takes to find, the truth I hold inside. I feel pressured by all sides, but it's my mind, my soul, my choice, my life, my will that will break these chains. one thing I am not is insane.

Break the bond that i stand to lose

You snared my mind although im aware
So without thought i stayed by your side
But now i see past your pretty lies

Dark child
Asha Kimo Jan 2020
Im afraid of what's coming
My fears play tricks on my mindset
Im tormented, i hear the lies
But finding the truth comes with dangerous ties
His voice sings a salutary tune
He's confined in time
But time will tell soon
Of the destiny he fulfils
The prophecy he consumed
A choice he was given
Free thyself
All hell break lose
Chain thyself
Heaven will never be true
So for good to be
Evil must reign
I take my place
My parts the same
Its time we all
Acknowledge the game
Share his shame
We all are to blame
The devil is those
Who believe his fame
The dark child comes
To replace disgrace
And save us all
From this wretched place
His feats are masked
By darkness face
But the light seeps through
The crack of doom
Im afraid of what's coming
My world has crashed way too soon

One wish to head
Asha Kimo Jan 2020
I'm sick and tired
Of this life I live
I wish I knew what was home
But every time I look inside
All I see is my empty clone
A wasted breath
A broken heart
And all I have left is my word
But pride can't build
What anger broke
It won't rebuild my hurt
So my soul in two is torn
Ive prayed away
I've fasted days
Yet god can't hear my plead
So still I sing
My silent song
One wish to head is all I need
