When my bones are brittle and my muscles weak, will anyone be near who thinks life to be a miracle? As my energy flows into the earth and it’s universe, I believe it to be a curse. My vitality abandoned me long ago, finding it once more would prove to be unavailing. Wake me up before I go, and tell me I mattered; though I believe this life to be futile, your words will bring me peace. The thoughts that leave your mind alongside your breath will not encourage me to fight, but allow me to surrender.
