We find allure within the havoc we sow,
A heavenly darkness and we call it beautiful.

Us human beings will never be satisfied,
Clinging to devastation,
whilst trying to justify it.

We live in our illogical irony,
We are flawed creatures,
But even worse,
We are stubbornly arrogant.

Betrayal is the closest friend
and the most eager lover.
It is the perfect cover,
but the greediest lender.
It’ll take your time,
And every last dime,
Keep you up sometimes,
Till you hear the clock chime.

Fragile tears
Shimmering in the dark.

Pain is like a gentle kiss from life.
Descending into its lullaby,
You feel warmth in its numbness.

How much I care,
Is so very much rare
So why put me in such despair  

A constant battle,
Falling into darkness
Exploding into light.

Thriving stars,

Modern loneliness is ironic,

At the same time,
even when we’re together.

We will never be able to starve the loneliness within us
We can only hope that through the company of others
We can mute it’s presence.
And hope it doesn’t devour us.
