instead cover me in ink
and surround me with papers

more than the stars
in my sky

my heart felt so much safe
when you left than
when you first touched me

you made me feel safe
you set me free
made me fall in love with myself
and gave me courage and peace
just like love does to anyone
the only difference is that
you made me feel all of this
when you left

i talk to moon everyday
about you and i see
him smile the way i do
when i'm with you
each time i talk about us
the moonlight turns brighter
i don't know if this is a sign
but it's our love that makes
our world shine brighter and brighter
everyday

believe me if the universe
can let the sun rise again
and give the moon back its moonlight
every night then it can surely

wearing stars all
around its body &
a moon which is beyond
any beautiful heart
sitting on the grass
in my skin-tight gown
i hummed our
favorite song wishing
you'd come back
but all ever came back
were memories of you

i get excited at the sight
of both of you

After my first heartbreak, I no more believed in love. Not even I thought of ever being in love. And honestly, everything seemed pretty perfect, until you. You made me feel things I no more believed in. Falling in love with you was like a voyage. I felt tired, constantly, but I never wanted to stop. I wanted to explore, to dive to the deep, deep end. Even though I couldn't breathe, I wanted to stay because deep down in you, in your love there was silence.....it was peaceful. Just like the ocean.

when i wake up terrified in the
middle of the nights
you are not here to kiss me
each morning when we wake up
you are not here to hold me tight under the sheets
you are only somewhere i cannot reach

don't you imagine your hands
running down my body
don't you want to read those books
to me again
i think you don't
you never really wanted to do these things
to me in the first place
you did it because your friends told you to
you shattered me and you broke me
and now i'll never be the one who can love

I feel lost

could she fight alone when all
she ever learned was that
her voice was never heard

she carried a cloud of thoughts
over her head and when it overflowed
it rained through her hands
on the paper in the form of poetry

the meteors started
pouring from the sky
the oceans overflowed
the fire burnt stronger
the sun shone brighter
the mountain collapsed
and the sky split in half
people finally came to know
that we had fallen for each other
your love must seem destructive
but for me it is healing.
