My epiphany hit today,
As I contemplated on every word you said that day.
The words you whispered into my ear are still tattooed in my heart.
You pulled me out when I was about to throw myself in a quicksand
"Aha" said i when I remembered how percipient you were when I poured myself out.
Thank you

I was on my way to you to say 'thanks"
But you left before I could reach you.
Fare thee well good servant
As you wear your crown of good deeds, rest of us are thankful of your services.
Fare thee well
I wrote this poem for my uncle who passed away on 25/10/2020.
He was a good man

Each mountain and valley teaches us something new,
Or reminds us of the things we didn't do right.
So that we correct them
Life ain't all smooth.
It's a series

A series of ups and downs
Don't mock those in the valley,
When you are yourself at the epitome,
Hold someone's hand instead,
Because tomorrow it'll be you struggling to go up.
It's a series

Dear truth
For a long time I've been trying to find you
Solving complex puzzles everyday just to get where you were
Today I found you,but I wish I didn't
Because I can't handle you
I wish we never met

I'm scared to close my eyes at night with you watching me
I wish you could just let me escape and go back to the life I had before I met you
I wish we never met

I chose inspiration over heroism
To be a book that everyone would wish to read
The road to the mountain peek was a long and winding one
But less walked
All I wanted was to change my fate
To rewrite my story
And impacting lives in the process
It came to pass
I reached the summit

I became a beacon
Yes,a force to reckon with because
I made it
I became a directory, giving directions to any soul who wanted to reach the top
I am a book
I chose inspiration
