To my Left...Nothing is Right

Standing on a once beautiful and fruitful land,I count my losses.
Wars,Famine,Plagues,oh,Mother Nature has rained down curses.
The good,the bad,the godly,the pure evil,all these paths crosses.
Its a war zone,every man,woman for him or herself,no room for a little courtesy.

Who would be our savior?
Our knight is shining armor
Who would hold onto us to make sure we don't float away,like a ship and an anchor?

What is the opposite of the saying "Just because am alone,doesn't mean am lonely"?
Well, I would gladly tell you...Being in a room full of people but still loneliness somehow finds its way into you. That,my dear is the direct opposite.
What do you see when you look closely?
A dark,secluded room?
Well,you are right,thats what it is...to you.
That dark,secluded room means so much more to me...My fortress of solitude,my  safe place,my twisted paradise,my muse.
There's a reason it has just a seat and a window.
It's my personal space,I  love you to the moon and back,Yes,I do...But I need that quiet time for myself,by myself.
No room for anyone else,a single seat for me,myself and I.
When I am all by myself,it's the best time to observe the world,to look through that window and see for myself how the world has changed.
That room isn't just a physical dark,secluded room....Its a State of Mind.

Once upon a time,I was whole.
Once upon a time,fulfilment was felt in my spirit,body and soul.
Once upon a time,I woke up with dreams,expectations and goals
That "Once upon a time" exists no more as it has been long folded like a scroll

They would not understand until they have actually been there
All the smiles,all the laughs,that was one hell of a mask.

TODAY,I CHOOSE JOY...

Not because I have the least troubles,but because I know someone has it worse

I choose joy to let my spirit feel free,I choose Joy to live life to the fullest because it only occurs once


The peace,the freedom,the tranquility,these suppasses the pain and fear of the sadness that burns.


I choose joy because I have experienced sorrow at its peak,and I never want that as a usual occurence.
