Silent murder
Rosy Smith Aug 2020
A silent lake with a swan on top
Causing ripples against the bank
Watering the little crops,
I walk here when I'm thinking,
Thinking of something more,
More than what's beneath,
This little murky shore.

I remember how life was,
Before all the silence,
The infinite silent pause.
I miss the warmth of the sun,
And the people I used to see
But the day came to end my fun,
Where I was left behind.

They claim they didnt see it coming,
I didn't either to be fair,
What once was a warm embrace,
Was a cold and dusty stare.
Now I sit and watch the swans,
Every day of every year,
Waiting for someone to find me,
Not once to shead a tear.

my beast

a subtle roar from within his chest,
pools of blue hidden behind heavy lids,
finally safe he's laid to rest
an angel the heavens forbid.
and when he wakes from his warm slumber
his soft dreams away from this world
will take his angry thunder
and I may hold him furled.

what can I say, what should I do?
I never thought I'd be so in love with you.
the little smirk, with a glass bottle raised
and when you say you love me your eyes so glazed

when the sun comes up and the dew begins to shine
I smile at the knowledge that you are mine x
I love that with you it is all so easy
and yes, I realise this poem is cheesy

a wave of destruction through my home
taking stuff as they roam and roam,
my family tries to play along
pretend like they believe nothing's wrong.
but he deserves whatever they give
and he expects us to just forgive?
a broken home a rip of light
you are why I write what I write.

sad tale x
Rosy Smith Feb 2019
a single line marked in the ground
feet moving with heavy bounds
a man made mad by old limbs and bones
producing not so dulcet tones

a waste of my time and a waste of his
yet he loves the way we kissed and kissed
a broken rib with a slash of paint
felt so queezy i sometimes faint

he made the most of my time with him
how i had to answer his every whim
it only happened once in a while
oh how i hated when he let his lust compile..

Stand up
Rosy Smith May 2018
I bite my tongue at the words you speak,
spitting venom especially at the young or weak
I toss my white flag to the ground,
and with my foot I pound and pound
I dare not look you in the eye,
in fear I see the masked tough-guy
who bullies the old and preys on the weak,
I bite my tongue at the words you speak

Lifetime
Rosy Smith Feb 2018
Hello sleepy baby,

Are you ready for the day?

Aww was that a maybe?

Oh how I wish that I could stay…

Cooey little prince

Maybe I’ll see you again sometime

Your mother I’ll convince

But for now it’s bedtime

Hey my little man

You’re nearly as tall as me!

You know I’m your biggest fan

I’m sorry I missed you turn three…

Hey there soldier

Why so glum

Why the cold shoulder

I’m so sorry about your mum…

What’s up kid,

I’m sorry you’ve not moved on

And that I left you when I did

I’m sorry but she’s gone

Why do you hate me?

What did I do wrong?

Look how easy life could be

You’re back where you belong!

I’m so tired of this son

So I’m moving far away

Feel better? you’ve won!

My new family won’t treat me this way…

My valentine?
Rosy Smith Feb 2018
Dear valentine I forgot

The significance this holiday is to you,

I love you every day I thought,

Well I really thought you knew,

Is it insecurity

Or something from your past?

Our relationship based on surety

Now I’m unsure if we will last..

Her frosted lips press against her knees

A lifetime remained unspoken,

Only loud silence graced the breeze,

Whilst the girl remains heartbroken.

A slither of colour trickled down her face,

Where she bit her tongue at the past

Never again would the girl wear lace,

Or be passed around the massed

I may not have a lot
frozen accounts can vouch for that,
everyone took from me, which was fine!
lover took more than half though... he was a ****

**** cheated on me twice
and thought I wouldn't notice
loved the outcome of that one
our cheaters got a foetus...

not my problem
everyone loves karma :)

psycho love
Rosy Smith Feb 2018
Lost without a light,
stumbling through darkness and lies
for their protection.

Hanging jaws of death
waiting on the perfect moment
one swift, subtle strike...

He broke my silence
destroyed everything i built,
with those tainted eyes.

Tainted my judgement
she would've died eventually
he told me to run.

I dont know
Rosy Smith Feb 2017
As this stream keeps flowing
To somewhere we don't know
People may come, some will go
Yet here you stay beside me,
And even if you stray away,
I know you will find me
Standing in our doorway

Glistening eyes
Rosy Smith Jan 2017
Glistening eyes met my gaze
From across the murky moore.
I thought it to be just a phase
But it ate at my core

Glistening eyes watched me dance
On the gravel by the water
Smiling like I'm in a trance
But as I begin to totter..

He yells a name
And a girl comes to my aid
She tells me she is his Dame
And for that show...I should've been paid

My love
Rosy Smith Jan 2017
My love calls me honey,
To ensure me he remembers my name,
I know he's here for the money,
He gains when I am slain

My love calls me sugar,
To buy himself some time,
Running of with some ******
After committing his crime.

My love calls me darling
When he wants things to go his way,
But when things are bad he starts snarling,
About how I need him to stay...

So I packed my bag,
And Keyed his jag,
And nobody was going to stop me!

A murderous eye
Watches the innocent rabbit
A bloodstained coat  shines

Money is exchanged
The deed is to be done
No fear, nor regret

A white light hidden
Towards the end there is
Nothing left to see

This crinkled smile lurks
Amongst all the frozen trees
A fear rises up

Full of scorpions
Is his minds as he slithers
His soul almost gone

Deadly love
Rosy Smith Jan 2017
as my skirt picks up in the winter breeze,
I fall beside you on my knees,
I kiss your cold and deadly lips,
in front of the new moon's eclipse.
they buried you later that night,
but by then I was out of sight,
I blessed you my love and bid you farewell,
as I lay beside you buried as well.
