Down By The River down a dirt road, I used to carry my cane pole and old tackle box to go fishing down by the river every afternoon after lunch.

Down By The River where I first learned how to skip a rock across the slow-moving water. Where I went to study my school work and make a small burning fire so that I could begin to think and wonder how my future has in store for me.

Down By The River where my pastor would take the church family and teach us about how much we are blessed and clean out our souls as we prayed.
Down by the river is where I learned how to play the guitar and drink my first beer.

Down By The River where I could go lay out in the meadow just to look up at the night sky as shooting stars went across. Down by the river where I learned who I was and how I could overcome anything as long as I kept my mind and faith high.

Down By The River is where I learned how to swim and just sit there relaxing. Down by the river is where I learned about love
and had a child.

Sitting here trying to get used to this slow motion to the point it's driving me crazy. But getting up every 15 minutes to walk around to keep me from letting my mind drive me insane, I'm trying to.


Drinking this liquor ain't good for me
But it drowns out the vision of my casket even tho it seems to be getting one day closer for me to be laying in it I know it's scary just to be thinking that way but try to tell your self to put the dope down and it won't hurt anymore isn't as easy as some may think when I had an addiction But the only thing I really seem to understand was trying to get away from the depression and the pain I had inside but taking things for granted of what they really were, for the most part, I'm trying to.

Becoming more lost at the time of being broke for the moment trying to figure out what I need to do to better my life. Money was the last thing I was wanting I wanted my life back. Chasing this pain away was only making me run towards the end of the line not even close to a single fill line. The heat was unreal until I got closer to God getting kick out of hell cause I was trying to become the mayor. I'm trying to.

Staying focus but listen women may love flowers and candy and diamonds and the finer things in life. It's ok on to be lonely cause when you get up to the kingdom you're going to be surrounded I'm Trying to.

Oh, Moonlight Oh Moonlight while so many of us use your shine for light to guide us through the night and use your beauty to be amazed at as the clouds run pass you.

Oh, Moonlight Oh Moonlight another sign of love and happiness as far be on imagination can take us and allow us to see and use our minds to think with.

Oh, Moonlight Oh Moonlight that shines so bright that reflects in our eyes can you please show us more beauty that takes us on a journey that you have for us.

Oh, Moonlight Oh Moonlight please don't fade away keep blessing the night skies with your beauty and attraction of shades of colors that take up the night sky that brights up with the stars so high to make a wish come true.

Oh, Moonlight Oh Moonlight the form of you takes breaths away and brings smiles on faces that tell a story of their own.

Oh, Moonlight Oh Moonlight, while so many of us use your shine for light to guide us, through the night and the young use your light as a night light being so cozy as they sleep the night away.

Lord Forgive Me there have been many nights I've been sitting here in this room praying and wondering if I'll be able to continue this struggle to try to keep my faith high while it seems like it runs from me wondering why I feel like I'm getting punished for things I just don't understand.

Lord Forgive Me I know you put me in this war to battle these demons that you want me to overcome but I'm moving like a slow drum roll I've had people tell me to keep marching on even though I'm trying to hold on through this life trying to make a change.


Lord Forgive Me if it seems like you forgot me I haven't seen the light at the end of the tunnel and my battery about low trying to see through this darkness at times I'm scared to lay my head down cause I don't know what's coming at me next, so I got to stay on my toes even though you gave me protection I still feel like their trying to get me trying to play dodge ball trying to keep my eyes on you, so I can be like Peter and walk on water.

Lord Forgive Me I'm trying just don't know if it's good enough getting tired of camp time to move to the next, so I can level up don't get me wrong I'm thankful for things you've done for me just getting out this struggling every day could be better, so I close my eyes wanting to get away from all of this to see what the plans are still nothing until it's time to move to a new camp to see what I got to do.


Lord Forgive Me I know it looks like I've been greedy but honestly I just want you proud of me I'm sorry I took for granted things in my life that you've put in my path but I don't want to be another Adam and Eve until time for me to get out this struggle I'll keep pushing for better ways.
