The first line - how emotions are abstract but how you when you fall in love with a person that person themselves can be an emotion. Everyone is their own emotion.
The second line - equating an emotionally divided system to human beings - that we are  made of different things, that ultimately take us in our paths and destiny and that we have to fight with these things to get to where we want to be.
The third lines - an emotional divide (a choice) between letting go of the past and moving forward in your life.
