A tragedy
unleashed upon her face
its marks run way down to her knees

She can't live like this
with the horror of his hands
messing with her conscience
she can't live anymore
with a broken heart
and a broken face

It hurts to walk with a straight back
because every part of her scared self trembles
every part of her body
reminds her of him

Her innocence worth nothing?
Her future taken away
by a man who didn't have one either

He took her body
and ripped it into shreds of red
he did leave her alone
but she was already half dead

Why is he walking freely
How can he inflict so much pain
What made him do something so vile
it scared a generation

She doesn't want a body
which had will to live
She doesn't her heart to beat
because it making too much noise

The people who love her
are scared to lose her
but they already have
She's clinging by a thread
which just isn't powerful enough
