She sat in the room, looking at the large bare walls wondering what went wrong, could she have saved him? " It was my fault I drove him away, out of my life faster than a bullet leaving the holding chamber." She lifted her head to see him standing there, fading in and out like a bad connection "Harry h-h-how?" He smiled his famous cheeky smile, emerald green eyes sparkling "I couldn't just leave you now could I?" She started to wonder how she survived, they both were hit by the car but she's still alive? "Rae haven't you wondered anything about that day?" "Well maybe, but you died and I'm alive even though I don't know how." His head instantly turned to look at her, his eyes bulging out of his head "Ray you're dead too."

Misfits
Mackenzie hart Apr 2014
She took a long drag from the small killing machine. Feeling the burning in her lungs, she released the small puff of smoke. She closed her eyes feeling the cool fall air whip across her face causing goose bumps to rise. Her head fell back hitting the brick wall, she stared across the alley way to see the love of her life standing adjacent to her. She watched him take a drag and release the addicting drug. She slowly walked over standing in front of him, she leaned closer and removed the small space between them by capturing his lips in hers. They pulled away breathless, she smiled thinking about their dumb teenage love. He whispered "We're misfits babe".

Loneliness
Mackenzie hart Apr 2014
Lonely that's all she ever felt. No one there to hold her when she cried,
no one to tell her it would all be okay. Laying here in this cold space she thought about ending it all, having no more lonely nights. But even in her darkest times, the thought never became more than just a thought. As she lay here staring up at the sky, she thinks about how it looks like a large black blanket covering the earth. No stars present. Just darkness like her soul. Once again she's alone. All alone.
