In the world of light and shadow, There is a dance that is always in flow, The light casts its rays far and wide, And the shadows cling to the darkness inside.

But sometimes, the light can cast a shadow, And the darkness can give birth to a glow, And in those moments of paradox and surprise, The world is transformed before our very eyes.

For in the dance of light and shadow, We can see the beauty that is both, And the contrast between the two, Gives birth to a new kind of truth.

So let us embrace both light and darkness, And see the world in all its richness, For it is in the interplay of the two, That we find our deepest, most authentic view.

You look at me and my heart shatters
I fall to the ground
The world continues to spin
My hand over my heart
There is no turning back
I am falling
From the righteous sky
down
     to
        the
              sea
                   of
                       guilt

In the darkest corners of my mind, I wander
I wait patiently for the day to come
For a smither of light to enter

The mind is a prison
A prison I hold the keys to

Yet, I wait for the cell to open
For a smither of light to enter
Illuminating the dreams, I locked away
At the very end of the darkest depths
Within the darkest portions of my mind
I wander

Thy Fire burns her heart tonight
Heavy burdens own the fight
Sleep is no option now
Her dreams no longer see the light
Darkness around the corner
Now in plain sight

Thy fire burns his heart tonight
Mistakes call from the bend
Memories shattered, now broken glass
Love the infamous mustard gas
His purpose gone, now a lonely knight
Life the beginning and the end

The war of love
Life’s precious game
Creates illusions inside our brains
Till there is no more left to gain
Thy fire burns their hearts tonight.

Light and darkness clash in an eternal battle, Each one trying to gain the upper hand, The light brings hope and peace, While the darkness brings fear and despair.

The sun rises in the morning, chasing away the night, Bringing warmth and joy to all who bask in its light, But when the night returns, shadows grow long, And darkness tries to take hold once again.

Yet even in the darkest of nights, There are stars that shine so bright, Guiding us through the darkness, And reminding us that there is always light.

So let us hold on to the light, And never let darkness win the fight, For as long as we have hope and love, We will always have the strength to rise above.

In the darkness, I search for the light, A glimmer of hope to guide me through the night, But as I look around, all I see is black, And the shadows seem to grow and attack.

Yet in the depths of my heart, There is a flame that will never depart, A light that shines so bright, And fills me with an inner delight.

For even in the darkest of places, The light within me still shines and embraces, And reminds me that no matter what may come, The darkness can never truly overcome.

So I hold on to the light within, And let it guide me through thick and thin, For as long as I have this beacon of hope, I know I can conquer any *****.

In the dark of night, as the moon did shine

A shadowy figure approached from behind

With a cloak of black and a face unseen
This stranger in the night was quite the fiend
A creeping sensation, a chill in the air

The hairs on my neck stood up in despair
My heart did race, my breath did stall
As the figure drew closer, I felt quite small

I turned to run, but my feet were frozen I tried to scream, but my voice was broken
The figure reached out, and with a cruel grin
Revealed the face that was hidden within
It was not a face that I knew or recognized
But one that filled me with fear and despise
The eyes were cold and the smile so twisted
This encounter was not something I had wished for or listed

The stranger spoke not, but with a swift motion
Revealed a dagger, my heart filled with emotion
My thoughts raced, my mind went blank
As I realized I was about to face my end, a terrible fate

But just as the blade was about to strike
A sudden noise startled the fiend, and it took flight I fell to the ground, trembling and weak
Grateful to be alive, but still unable to speak
The night passed on, and the sun did rise
But the memory of that encounter never dies
For in my mind, I see that face once more
And wonder what could have happened, what was in store

So beware, dear reader, of the strangers in the night
For you never know when you might come face to face with fright
And when that time comes, may you be strong and swift
Or else you too may face a terrible gift.
