Janeth Dec 2018
Just sleeping I can
Just barely grasp my
Dreams fading into oblivion
I don’t want to wake up
Yet

The sun screams
My name
I am
Late
Pack my bag
Close the door
Close my eyes
The breeze hugs me
She cradles me in her cold arms
If only I had
A blanket
I could
Sleep.
Goodness, how I hate the title! If you have any good recommendations for a better title please let me know.
This is a small poem I wrote in my English class after we finished our test.
