To the end
I longed for you
Since the day we met
looking but not caring
Until you left.

You stained my heart
With sharp needles
Im haunted, but I think
I got what I wanted.

Each time I stay awake
The only thing on my mind
Is you and how you
Could be Thinking about me too.

And you will always be shadows
Memories left to be forgotten.
But I think
I got what I wanted,
From the start.

I'll close my door
or maybe slam
to scare away
you and your
friends.

I'll watch my door
and hear your
voice echoing still
in my wandering
halls.

But it isn't locked
it hasn't been
because maybe you'd
want to come
in.
No matter how much i tell myself i wont let you come back, I guess it never works. So ill close my door for you, but i wont lock it.

You say you love me,
but humans are only capable
of looking at what they
can see.
and you are not capable
of loving what you don't know.

and you say you love me
but what is shiny is also
scratched.
the layers of my skin hide
a frostbitten language
only know by the foreigners
you don't know exist.

and you say you love me
but love means
walking through a snow storm
I had already passed
because you know you would
meet me on the other side.
but you turned around
because you couldn't see past
the white casted trees.

don't say you love me
because you don't have anyone else
to say it to.
say you love me
when your mind wont swell
if I don't say it back.
Don't say you love me if you don't know what the word love means.

Don’t ask me what I want
Tree branches snap in storms
We didn’t know were coming
And towns flood and flow
From a storm
We didn’t know was coming
And the lighting struck my house
From a storm
I didn't see coming

Her hands were soft and delicate, a carnivore's feast.
The burning ember captivated her gaze, too numb to notice.
Kyoto is a fragile porcelain bowl, cradling centuries of memories.
“Please, let’s go to Kyoto.”
Her eyes meet mine, too lost to be here.
“That’s not my name?”
You never quite listen to me no matter how much I speak. maybe our mouths would be better sewn shut then to let any meaning escape our lips.

Life around me swelling,
white snowy casts in the airs purr
water dripping from old rooftops,
and the birds' quiet sonnets.

old fish swimming in
nothing but frozen water
forced below the surface,
engulfed in winter air.

wandering the streets
childrens feet skipping cracks
falling lightly against concrete,
a family of lost hope, a child with no mother.

the buzzing breaks the silence
eyes wandering every sight
feet dragging but not walking,
breathing but not living.

deteriorating plants and street cats,
staring but not looking
heavy vision but not seeing,
the only consistent thing,
is the ringing.

The only thing I want is you.

In a world full of rules,
you are the only exception.
You defy all logic
with your love and affection.

Through crowded halls,
and makeup dolls,
I catch your glance
for once, maybe ill have
a chance.

Im hypnotized by loves affair
and let you label me ***** air.
My dreams came true
were stuck by glue
until my eyes are opened by you.

Ive waited and wasted
my time is through
the only thing I don't want.
is you.
a poem for people who love so hard just to be bitten by the world's harsh reality.

I had never spoken
so you couldn't hate the words
that would leave my lips.
But you still found a way
to hate my mouth.

The same mouth that brushed
over the one you hold
and whispered in my ear
as my fingers laced with DNA
you will always have.

And I am sorry if not saying
I love you
that night bruised your heart
but your mind never thought
why I didn't or why I do
the things I do.

So my soul will always ache
for rest that can't come with sleep
and my soul will always ache
for you to only understand
me because I always
understood you.

The fires ember
Forced hurricanes and lightning
Sparks lost won't return.
a simple haiku

I love my bed and my blankets
Because I know they will never leave my side.
Even so, I lay on my floor.
