Serendipity
Sierra Gear Aug 2019
Serendipity come take a stroll with me I see a light  up ahead its pull so strong it takes my breath let go of my hand the earth can hold me no more you have unfinished business you must stay but my road has been long and hard and I ran my last mile today feel the breeze on my face hush my child this is a quiet place no time for sadness or tearful farewells I have lived my life the wrinkles on my skin tell the tail no grief for me I must fly away to serendipity friend we will stroll together another day.

Wonder
Sierra Gear Aug 2019
Breathless me as I watch you sleep time creeps by you snuggle to me I hear you sigh comfort you comfort me blissful night . what your mind beholds in your sea of dreams little one so pure and sweet a twitch here a yawn there tiny little toes curl on tiny feet most nights I watch you amazed at how much you have grown seems like only yesterday on a cool breezy morning I brought you home. My little boy dream of things pure and sweet and I'll lay here watching you till I also drift to sleep

Death of America
Sierra Gear Aug 2019
Building walls
brother tearing down brother
why cant we just respect one another
Lighting up monuments with pinks and blues for the death of little lives that could not choose make America great again
I call bs bring back bush hell Obama hurt us less
Go fix your tupe your hair is in a mess
Go sleep peaceful in your million dollar bed veterans are homeless soldiers guard us and lose sleep I hear the hungry crying look at lady liberty she weeps

— The End —
