In the Rain
Krystal-Ann West Nov 2020
~~She danced and whirled and twirled and spun
when there was no where left to run.
She laughed with mirth and killed with glee
spinning, weaving a ****** history.
She danced and spun and cried in pain
He watched with hatred, her dancing in the rain.
Little girl whirling there
Laughter filling the balmy air
sighing in the retreating sun
It begins to rain, she begins to run.
Little girl out of sight
Little girl scream in fright
He caused you so much pain
Returning to the memory, that little girl in the rain.
Dancing, washing the blood, out of sight
Clawing, screaming, forever night
He watched with a vengeful eye
Little girl, laugh and cry
Holding fast to her heart
Alone in the dark
She stood covered in blood, covered in their pain
Little girl died in the rain.~~

When it Rains
Krystal-Ann West Nov 2020
Anger whipping through her veins
like a burning poison when it rains
rains down the fire escape,
wake up before it's too late
the sun lays down in icy death
it burns with passion for those who left.
Left the world of hopes and dreams
where nothing is ever as it seems.
The fiery passion in her eyes,
slowly dims as they die
Death blackens the world we know
It makes holes in pure white snow.
Snow that was so innocent
has come down in the descent.
Now she lays down, a crimson flow
as the innocence of a naïve woman dies in the snow
she sees now the world as it is
and wonders how it ever came to this
so now she whispers in her sleep
for safety and her soul to keep.
Anger whipping through her veins
like a burning poison when it rains.

The Way
Krystal-Ann West Nov 2020
Mock the way I live,
take the breathe from me.
It's not for you to give
How can this be?

I thought I knew what love was.
but that was just a dream.
I thought I knew what love was...
but things are never as they seem.

Rip my heart out and watch me bleed
I'm here upon the edge of life
you don't know what I need.
This is just too much strife.

I walk around, an empty carcass.
waiting for an end.
They always say life is just.
Just what dear friend?

I don't understand
I can't grasp the concept
someone take my hand
and pull me from these depths.

The depths of dark.
the depths of light.
From a little girl in the park
to an old man with no sight.

Suicidal thoughts racing through my veins
holding fast to nothing
come, lets play their games
Hear the cursed bells ring.

A wedding of sorts
but it's not the same.
The ship pulls into ports
what was his name?

A name of fear
A name or hate
for one so near
the "Heavenly" gate.

So one that once walked in light
is now so far gone
I walk through this forever night
I'm always so alone.

So as I lay down tonight
I say goodbye to you
you have now snuffed the light
you know this to be true.

Mock the way I live
take the life from me
it's not in you to give
you were the ones who let this be!

Worlds Apart
Krystal-Ann West Nov 2020
Look up to a sky of blue
A blue that you never knew
The bubbles ripple over the surface
just as clouds float in the sky
something flickers in her eyes.
She whispers near the edge of life
he is sheltered in the death of night.
Standing on hollow ground
worlds apart from each other.
They only need one another
Holding fast to her steady beat
floating there with her naked feet.
He sleeps in death
she wakes in sleep
never, ever a love so deep.
Goodbye tonight
Hello Today
there's nothing left to say.

The ones that Were
Krystal-Ann West Nov 2020
Frozen plans of human waste
shattered souls, could not embrace.
Pillars of sand washed away
changing of tides; a dangerous place
shadows around the edge of time.
Pilgrims speak of an ancient rhyme.
Staring out of soulless eyes
Dancing truths of bitter lies.
Flawless beauty of arrogant souls
Moronic fools, lost it all.
A fiery blaze starts the story.
An icy death ends their glory.
Holding fast to their precious lies
the truth in their godless, foolish eyes.
Frozen planes of human waste
shattered souls who could not embrace
pillars of sand that washed away
changing of tides, a watery grave.

Silence
Krystal-Ann West Nov 2020
Silence echoes down the halls
an icy chill reverberates off the walls
a ghost of reason long since past
has come to take thee home at last

and when you see the shadows there
and feel the cold, fearless stare
you will know the meaning of pain,
and feel the anguish of tears as they rain

Silence echoes towards the graves
as you feel the pain that you have made.
and now you see, what you did in the past.
the silence reaches you; you die the last.

The last to ever hear her breathe
and one last thing you shall receive
all of her tears, anger, and pain
as you stand alone in the rain.

Silence echoes down the halls
an icy chill reverberates off the walls
a ghost of reason long since past
has come to take thee home at last.

World of Dreams
Krystal-Ann West Nov 2020
She goes into hiding
she sews herself shut
she bleeds out the heartache
but it's still, never enough
She SCREAMS! She cries, she vanishes she DIES!
she crawls into her shell
her daily living hell!!
Screaming, but no one hears
her voice falls on deaf ears!
Agony rips at her core
Raven mockers...cry NEVERMORE!
Darkness sweeps across her soul
ripping her apart, no longer whole
hateful words, choking she drowns!
Jesters in their moronic courts
laughing mercilessly , an ironic sport
her candle is flickering, dancing wild
Naïve innocence, like a child
Falling apart, ripped at the seams
safe only in the world of dreams.

A New Hope to find
Krystal-Ann West Nov 2020
Wondering alone in reckless times
I pray thee, a hope to find
something fades, in darkness stays
Joy spread thin
wishes at an end
Moving forward
taking two steps back
washing away pain
it's your heart that you lack
wings of LIGHT, cover your fear
wings of DARK, draw you near
heading south, north, east or west
which way...the darkened soul knows rest...
wishing for a new life to begin,
but this one is not at an end
finding a way to fit it all back together
but some things are too torn and weathered
so wash away the dreary thorns
listen to the music that warms,
hold fast to something you love
heading into better times.

Yesterday
Krystal-Ann West Nov 2020
She has no passion for what she lost
for it came at much too high a cost
walking in footprints of years far gone
she never realized what it'd mean to be alone
Holding on to yester years
drowning in her never ending fears
she's but a shadow of who she was
for she gave up on everything that she loved.
When you let everything fade away
and live in the mistakes of yesterday
you become a shadow jut like she
Oh God! how could this be?
She has no passion for what she gave away
her vision blurs from the pain of yesterdays
sometimes when trying to move on
you realize your heart is too far gone.
They had no passion for what she lost.
For bringing her back came at much too high a cost.
