I see you there, standing
It was nothing like before
Now you stand tall and brave
Your stare with fire, unafraid

                   I see distance, shifting places
A wrinkle on the pristine sheet
     The innocence it once had
Blinking, wavering until it goes

I haven't seen you in a while
You've changed, it changed

I can't see you anymore
you've gone, it's gone
i hope you come back
the sheet free from wrinkles

At least I hoped so
Vent vent vent
I glance around the empty space
The shadows dancing on my eyes
My heart craves for a stupid chase
That I can never give

A tank of love that's far too full
The seams of it all frayed to break
This wandering romantic fool
Has nothing else to give

I let my mind erase the thought
A dying light is left behind
My heart and brain observe the rot
"You're too afraid to give"
First post! Hello everyone!
Along the coasts of an ocean blue
A girl stood, staring, eyes fogged
Her pockets filled with ink-black stones
Her face pale, blank and still

Everyday she'd scan the sea
Her pockets licking at the ground
The weight would mock her sickly limbs
Her mind ablaze with hate and fear

Her calloused hands reached down
The poor girl trembling from the weight
Alas! The wait was far too much!
"Splash!" It echoes through the coast

The water rippled from the weight
The waves roared from the fallen thing
It was cold

Freezing, numbing, cold

This is new

The girl stared
Her pockets empty
Dazed and content
She felt warm for once
This was an experiment, I hope it's pleasing!
