Dizzy, your stomach starts feeling kind of fizzy
This bus is so busy, but you focus on the road and it’s over.
Then you look out the window and again your head spins
And your rationality fights but your irrational fear wins,
Your heart starts pounding, thudding in your chest,
And it feels like your heart is sprouting wings,
Trying to escape from your ribs, and fly away,
Fly down where the height won’t scare it.
But your fear gets stuck in your airway,
And you can’t breathe, you’re choking,
You start screaming, but it’s only a faint croaking.
The bus going higher and higher provoking your fears to grow bigger,
But your heart does instead, it’s filling your chest,
It feels like it’s exploding, your vision darkens,
And then at last…
Peace.
