Silenced affection
Matropa Nalangwa Nov 2018
Its been a year since you faded away
I know how hard you wanted to stay
But you couldn't afford an extra day
The death winds you followed their sway,
Still **** me every moment in my way

On this day when heavens opened for you
I stared at your closed eyes
and the peace written across your face
An angel in a deformed corpse
Baby you were my grand prize
the first fruit of my love

And I remember how I held your colds hands
Just as your smile froze
And when I thought you'll smile back
Baby you left me young and lonely
And the flower I laid at you
still flickers my mind that, love, you're no more

A year now into your silent grave
The grave which my heart you buried
My love you died with it
And my silent prayer each day
My love,rest in peace
