How?
Rose Oct 2017
Tell me, how do you tell someone you don't love them anymore
When the past year of together
Has turned to one of uncomfort
When you are too scared to hurt
But too hurt to stay
When he goes from a stranger, friend, to lover
He might go straight back to the beginning
Tell me, how do you tell the one you love
You don't love them anymore

Running to a Stand Still
I can't look at You without Suffocating
from Iron Lungs that choke me in my sleep
in the places were I Used To Feel Safe
Secured from the Demons that haunt my step
Buried in the Ruins
where My Past
Left Me
Behind

Forgetful
Rose Sep 2017
"Did you really love me
Or just the idea
Did you really miss me
Or just the memories
Did you really not want to lose me
Or lose yourself in the process

Sometimes people mistake love for the desire to be whole, forgetting they already lost both hearts in the process"

Rejected, Not Forgotten
Rose Aug 2017
Not even my lungs drowning in alcohol
Was enough to pretend I was fine
To pretend the wounds weren't festering
With venom spat by Envy

Is it a shame to spend time away
From those whom claim to own your love
But never mind the shared name

There's only so much a child on the edge can bear
Until two rough hands shove them over the edge
Plummeting through shame and neglect

No one ever knows the worth of an object containing life until it tis dead
But what if that is all it was
All I was
An Object

Drowning On The Inside
Rose Aug 2017
Our bodies float to keep us breathing
While our minds **** us from within
