Midnight Slumber In A Drunken Haze

I awoke !
From a dream...or am I dreaming?
I seek I find something gleaming
I know now what you are.
You are the passion of my life
But plunged in me a butchers knife.
I die so sweetly in your arms
A Dream i could only hold as a lantern in the night
You are my hopeless flight.
Into that flight I fly far and fast beyond the glass of tomorrows words
A haze which I am between a dream of my heart.
I know now who you are
You are who I am we are one
Like bullets from a gun.
Death is my only release from Hate which was once love
I know now why i loved you oh Caroline
Your name was as sweet as sugar but burned me like fire.
Goodbye my sweet Caroline goodbye goodbye!

You took my heart of love and Gold and turned to cold hell!

Haze of anger

I'm bleak
I'm strange
I have no thought
My mind is lost a dark black blot
Fortune finds me then it leaves as picture of a breeze
Captured forever in my mind
Completely lost far in time
Understand that i have not of which i speak of which i thought
Do you keep in memory of yourself
Through forgotten memories of yourself
Do hate me love or all the same what is that inside your brain
Do speak with anger or with love
Are you kind and gentle as a dove
Are you lost in time
Or lost in sin
Do hate the world you are trapped in
Does you grow faster
Or does it stop
Do love yourself
Or do you not
My haze of anger i'm caught up in
Is like a dream of fortunes end

Self untiring thoughts that keep my mind settled

We were there

We were there when we went but no one remembers
We were there and we seen a war in September
I sat in my barracks with some of good friends
when head master called to his infantry men
as a ranger i flew i took to the skies
i'm lucky enough i made it alive
War is hell its all the same
a ranger born to die

This Flag

This flag ain't a rag
it don't stand for a gang
We don't throw it in the air
just proudly it hangs
it fly's by day it lowers at noon
we pledge unto it an oath we keep true
many men died to keep you free
and keep that flag flying flown in the breeze
i guess its true and i'm proud to brag
i love my sweet ole American flag

When you are gone
When you are lost
When your burdens are heavy
When answers are wrong
When your mind tends to wonder

Who cares honestly

Upon a night one as this i sat and wrote a poem of bliss
I saw a bird he landed close and said to me who are you for
i said nay bird go away he flew afar up and flaying the night sky.

Another night he did return and brought to me a torn paper upon wrote said
I am savior of course i said bird go away leave me be my poems await
he then flew off again in flight peeling off the skin of night.

But weeks did pass like does a second i found myself second guessing
my condescension to the bird but then again he did return
he said to me i come with love take me in for im a dove
i said oh bird just let me be my dreary poems await for me .

and as of time it did pass but then again once alas he did return but as of now he was sparrow strong and stout i said to him fly away i have need of no sparrow go away he then again flew a flight peering off to the moonlight.

Years did pass and i grew old children came grew up left home my wife she passed leaving me true and now i feel so lonesome too but then again the bird returned but just like me he aged in turn a owl now he was this time.

I said oh Wise owl have you come to stay he said if you wish we can fly away i took hold of his wings he spread them far we flew of like speeds of moving cars.

I saw cars buildings and sky scrapers airplane jets and clouds of vapor he headed for the moon and went even higher we reached top and the stars grew brighter he said now watch as go far we picked up speed and went even farther.

At this point i could see the earth and the all stars and the planets i said to the bird shall i drift off back he said to me yes.

We flew swiftly through the night back to my chambers he let me off i said come in and take a seat and so he did and we both did eat.

Night had passed and the sun was on the rise i went to my bed and opened my eyes.
