The girl sat at her desk, quiet that morning. Even with the million sounds and noises coming from each and every direction, she never made even a brief sound. Her breathing was shallow. As for her eyes, they were locked firmly onto something. Something not even another pair could see.. She was quiet, but not blind. Her voice was quiet, and toned down when she spoke, and the shivering of her body, offend told people she was just cold. But the temperature in the room was at its highest.

Every moment of her life, someone near and close to her, kept forgetting about her. Her skin was hollow and offend looked bluish from how cold she was. Every single person who’d left her, left behind some remains. Her body was that reminder. But without a soul, what did she have left.

I had forgotten her….

Grandfather's clock ticked and ticked, the sounds awake you carefully. But still the sounds felt like pounding earthquakes across your head. Pounding and banging inside the dead parts of skull. The box of white, soft, stillness of the used tissue in your hand made everything still and quiet. You’re mind still shaken by remaining moments, seemed to last forever. He came willingly and left willingly just the same. The dark howling shadows left behind continued crawling along the floor as your legs pushed slowly along the floor. Keeping the shadows as far from you, felt like an achievement. But for how many years the achievement no longer remained. You’re achievement now, was keeping him away from you. The dark twisted way he’d smile at you, made you feel like dying. Slowly, in fact, but still dying. The cold puzzled look of death belonging to sliver eyes frightened you, but over time things came clear. And every time he’d stare into you, those chilling, death like words kept your heart still. ’’How far till you fall.’’

Amethyst light shined down upon the earth. Blue followed the rains of earth upon the people, as pink and orange aided the sun with beautiful sunrises. Green and brown followed the earth to bed every night, as the white from the moonlight shone, protecting those of a tiny heart. Her smiled shined brightest when the moon was out. The sun and moon protected those they cared for. Protecting her tiny smile from the wrath of nightmares and horrible creatures. The sun beheld in her glory, as the moon sent her peaceful dreams. When it snowed, blankets of icy cold white kept her warmth. The pure white covered her pure white face with water, as it dyed her hair white. Following behind was baby blue eyes. Following the sweetness of a sapphire smile. Snowflakes twinkled alongside her, as they folded, melting in the warmth of her body. The snowflakes offered her smile. The blizzards covered her head to toe in the blanket of ice. When it rained, the rain drowned her. Aiding in the morning's warmth sun, it quickly dried her. It healed her sweet pleasure with memories regarding Hazel jewelry. Fake and unvalued by others, it made the girl smile. The smiled kept the jewel alive, and in a way kept the girl alive as well. With the many smiles she’d receive in due time, they filled her with longing happiness. For the people were her happiness, as she, their treasure.

You told her to keep living. Never to give up, never to bat an eye at the responses. She had appreciated the advice and told you she would hold it with her forever. But the words faded from your heart the night you found her. The cold touch of her skin ran chills down your spine as you knelt down frozen by her image. Blood from the running wound on her damaged wrists ran down her skin and into your brain as you kept the image. Locked away and buried was where your heart was, remaining from that cool November night, as the love of your life faded from the world. Her head was buried in the soft touch of winter, as the Twilight smiled down on you most nights after. Your heart knew it was her every time. For Twilight was her favorite color.

Stormy-night and blood covered hue. Emerald green and crimson red. Risen love, now shattered. Lovely memories, shattered to pieces. His lovely mind, crushed up like a paper ball. Chocolate dates and heavenly speech, birthdays, and anniversaries, erased. As not existed. Under control. But not as you. Leadership and scars. Blood and hate. Violence and tears. Death and embrace.

I love you.… and I let you go.

Lights and dancing. Singing then crying when you got the bad news. She died in your arms that night. You knew it to be true once her little eyes didn’t open at the sound of her name. The youngest angel of his family passed….to join the Twilight the next morning. The tears you remembered still stained your cheeks. The negativity now in his eyes brought vengeance. No love.

You knew it..

Before he did.

That he was vengeance then love…..

To the stars who listen and the dreams that are answers, his power filled the  throne room. The castle, the mountain. The world. Her world. It had no end and no beginning, until it was she, who came into his world. Into his life. Gathering unique flowers, and bringing forth the shinning sun, that shines the brightest when he winnows past. His short black hair gleamed like the raven's fathers, almost as if they shared the same pearly, black blood. His pale skin and blue eyes, so deep, and magical, the cauldron inside them, took you whole, and emerged you in waves of trouble and love. Violet fright-light, and embers of ash.

The deep tone of his voice held you close, closer, till he had his hands pressed against your cheeks, then he'd growl and purr once he had you. To the stars who listen, and the dreams that are answered. ''Hello Darling.''

When I was dying inside, feelings escaped silently through writing. The writing helped me to remember my life and lock away my feelings. My face forms a smile when I’m dead inside, I laugh when my heart fills with tears, as the cold breeze followed by the winter shine of the moon reflects through the glossy shield of a damaged, bloodstained window. The thoughts came rushing back tonight. The cold, chilling, winter feeling of her own skin made her lips curve, as she hugged herself slowly. Rocking back and forth she pleaded inside herself. ’’If I ever tell you my back story, know its never because I want you to feel sorry for me, but so you can understand the person I am.’’ She was tired. Physically and mentally. All she wanted to do was shut her eyes and hope she’d never have to open them again. But how could she when the lock and key refused to allow it. She knew very well who the lock and key was. No friends of hers, certainly not friendly, nor human, nor animal. But the demons she created.

Drip, drip, was all she could hear. The bit of her blade rested loosely against the tip of her fingertip, lightly. Crimson, followed by raining scarlet, filled her vision quickly. She couldn’t make herself stop thinking about the dark thoughts lingering in her mind. Black then white, white than black. Her shadows chased her around, round and round till she saw stars. It was peaceful…….but only for a moment. She felt the dizziness and her only pieces of happiness faded away as it brought her back to hell………

The light from the kitchen brightened up her face slowly. The bits of leftover food sat motionless in the corner of her plate. Without looking she could see the front door. It was wide open. His footprints still wet as they lead all the way into the cold.

’’It's coming down out there.’’ Told her mother.

’’When the rain pours.’’ She whispered.

Tonight, once more life sinks its teeth right into my heart. Shattering it to pieces, as I am forced to watch as my now hollow dreams lay just beneath my feet. Not to close away, but perfectly in reach. Within my grasp, a little more hoping and magic and they could be whole again. But if it seems so easy, why haven't I done it.

The cool weather belonging to a December evening felt cold on the bottom of her spine. The wave of death was staring down under her, as the cool metal of her grave stone watched underneath the cool, creamy touch of white winter skin. She felt defeated as the words carried on inside her. The bullet wound still ached under the soft embrace of her warm chocolate hair. The bullet wound carried with death, and blood as she waved over it, a wave of giant pain stormed through her body, catching her spine by surprise as she grew in sharpened pain. They say you die twice. One time when you stop breathing and a second time, a bit later on, when everyone stops saying your name. When a person is born, there is a happiest day, and when they get married, we rejoice on the next chapter. But when they die, everyone pretends nothing happened. Erasing those memories of the person, and continuing on, lonely, shattered, and mistaken’d. In life, there's always a person we loved, in death we still love. In our hearts they never vanish, in our hearts you hold a place. A place no one else can fill.

Summer and Autumn. Light and Dark. Good and Bad. Thunder and lighting. Water and rain. Winter and snowflakes. Friendships and love. Storms and sea. Eyes as cold as night. Midnight lips and a shiny soul. Brightened by the moonlight. Gathered to one place. One place. A place of magic and youth. Fantasy and imagination. This is your place. A place created by the mythical fantasy behind brunette eyes. Stunning jet black hair, a tint of light green formed around the edges. A deepened heart, locked tightly with the bit of a key. The edge of daybreak welcomed her…..But she always declined. There was something waiting for her. Something only she could wait for. Something that loved her, no matter what she thought. No matter the cold and dark thoughts her brain could muster. The eyes of that something could always tell her she was wrong.

The candles joyfully sang for you today. Until you return home, they always will. And until then the heart of your spit will only continue to get bigger and bigger. Until it passes everyone on earth.

Sometimes, it is impossible to rid of your demons. You’re demons follow you everywhere and anywhere. Riding them of you is never a simple task. But being without them can cause much worse things to happen. The demons you keep with you are fragments of yourself. Tiny bits of your soul, you’ve broken off and sent drifting. Since the day, you’ve broken those fragments off from yourself. They’ve done nothing but follow you around. They're hard to see, just as hard to hear. But that doesn’t mean they're not close. They will always be there, awaiting the day when you finally forgive yourself, and take them back. Demons are mistakes, accidents, and wishes gone wrong. There nothing but small fragments, you abandon. Learn to forgive them, and you’ll find, in due time. You can forgive yourself.

He was like fire and ash. So similar, yet so different in the same rain. He lived in the moment. Then she did the same. He died in the moment. But then still she did the same. He tried to walk in the light, while she walked alongside the light from the moon above. He was the day. She was the day and the stars to him. Each of them knew each day mean't a new set of twenty four hours. Each day mean't anything was possible. he was like fire, she was like the ash. So similar, yet still the same in the beat of the silver storm. He lived in the moment. She did the same. He died in the moment, and still she repeated. He tried to walk in the light of the day, this time, they went together. Mixing brown and green created the olive. Their love gave a whole new meaning to the word day.

You
Alex Jan 2021
You
Ugly world, beautiful world, shadow world, bright world. Attractive? Skinny? Beautiful, smart. This is what today’s standards expect you to be. And because you're not, you work harder. Harder, and harder until your soul resembles that of your own broken heart. Small, medium, large, extra-large. They don’t matter, none of them. Living with an eating disorder……its cruel.

Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer. All that’s left will be your bones. No flesh, no warmth, nothing to love. And still, those dreaded souls will still repeat these words over and over in their heads. ’’Just not skinny enough.’’ But even with those words playing over and over in their minds. I’ll still be here. Ready to tell you something different. Something important. Something you need to hear. ’’You don’t have to be, you’re so beautiful.’’

’’All of you.’’

The eyes of an eagle. The breath of a snake. The sound of a cat and the ears of a dog. You are unique. Fire as bright as ember burns through you. Along the icy cold chill of the winter months as it cools your nose. Be your best self. You can’t be everything at once. Be unique. Be different. Be you, and shine like diamonds. Burn like ember, chill like ice. Care like earth. Flow like water and blow like air. Work yourself into the shinning ember I know you can be.

Glow like a diamond, love like a valentine. Light up the room like thunder and burn the negativity. Light the tunnel, melt the ice. Unlock the key. Be you.

When there's no room in hell, the dead will walk the earth. The cool darkness of the November dawn, rained down upon the world and it's dark surroundings. Cool, sharpened screams of horror filled the earth. Following blood filled moans of striking hell and crimson waters. I always thought of zombies as being about revolution. But the red rain blood has taken all thoughts from mine and from the human race. Eaten, swallowed, and redivided world has fallen. The moon filled with blood tonight, as the zombies ripped you apart.
