I am here.
In the river I love so much

In my head,
Thoughts swarm like endangered bees

In this body,
I am not quite thrilled with

In the quiet breeze
Of a sunny day

On this earth,
We do not protect

In this galaxy,
We sadly put on a pedestal

In this universe,
Where possibility is infinite

I am present.
I am aware.
I am transforming.
I am here.

Essence of life.
Swirling eddies around my body
Steadily pumping on the inside

Water is life.
Touching every piece of the puzzle
We must be the advocates.

Protect our life.
Stand up and demand what’s right
Water is nature’s source of connecting

Perception is reality
We look, but we don’t see

You must let the pain visit
Open up and let it flow through
Inevitably, it will wash over you
So don’t avoid it, but never keep it

My insides are crumbling
The sadness of this earth
Slowly chipping away at me
Weighs heavily on my soul
Beaten and broken down
Demolished by personal and worldly
Issues arising like smoke from a fire
The abuse and violence
I can’t take anymore!
Like a phoenix from the ashes
I have transformed
A chance to start anew
Gaining strength from my pain
I stand tall once again.
I am my soul
I have a body
My first taste of another realm
Shows me that we are one
Every spirit is connected
To nature, to the universe, to each other

Her sun exploded
And she finally saw the light

Weaving, whirling, winding
My brain searches for the pattern
Connecting all the synchronicity
No such thing as coincidence

Lying awake restless and troubled
Close my eyes.
Thoughts barrel in and not out
Grab my phone
Aimlessly scrolling other people's lives.
Anxiety, my old friend
You've stolen another night.
What do I need?
Water, whiskey, ****?
What is the worst case scenario
Of any possible event
I've thought of it.

Too much woman,
Too much wild

Pulled away by the stars
Drift among the planets

Led by the wildflowers
And the waterfalls

Dancing on the treetops
Listening to the leaves

A personal awakening
Embrace the darkness
Be swept up in its majesty
Explore the depths
Never ending magnificence
In the deepest black holes
Of a galaxy
Far, far away
Or perhaps closer
Than the mind can comprehend
The network of stars
Runs deep in your blood
The dust of a celestial
Descension into your being
The moonbeams are your guiding light.

These words on the tip of my tongue
Scream and scrape to burst out.
My soul is alive, on fire
Every sense is glittering in the light
I feel the magic pulsating in every vein.
For I am the sun and the moon.
The stars, the trees, the ocean
The goddess.
That came after many before me
So I scream for all the women
Who are without their voice
The meek and frightened
Tremble before the oligarchy
Do not back down.
Scream so your sisters hear
That they are not alone.

I miss you with every moon
This is me waxing and you waning
With every phase I drift further
         Away from the past
The tides wash you ashore
     A bright full moon
Empties my memories
   The crescent reminds me
