Colors
So many colors
Splashed right across
The prism of space
The prism inside me
The prism of life
Springing forth
And falling back
Booming and blooming
As life takes its
Own decisive turns
Colors mirroring
Experiences
Of expressions
Doing their own
Designs enticing
All awaiting
Spring means something different for all of us. To me, it’s all about possibility.

Wanted and wanted beyond the limits of want
If there’s such a possibility

Wanted and wanted beyond the limits of time
If it’s conceivable

Wanted and wanted beyond the bounds of space
If such concept exists

There beyond the seeker, beginningless existence unbound
Upon which all there is

The great truth with many names
What does it mean to desire? How does it fit into our existence? This piece explores the idea of Brahman.

Sounds like a song
Sounds truly like a song
Syllables rolling out of the tongue
Your name truly feels like a song

Lulling slowly into the lovely lap of slumber
As the luring arms of lethargy
Envelopes logic where
Thoughts flee
To dream
Snoozing
Into
Peace

Sounds like a song
As the sounds tumble slowly
Mingling into the air
Carrying the sounds
To the fore

To the folks attuned
To the singsong
Sounds of your name

Musical magica
Happy Valentine’s Day, poetry fam. On this day I’d like to highlight the love I feel for my teacher’s cat, Lula. Let’s celebrate love in all its forms.

Hey hope is slow to come
But kind of grows on you

Hey laughter needs a little more coaxing
But don’t give up

Hey love comes later but stays on longer
With the light hazing through and through

Hate’s got to back off
Where light’s there
Dark can’t hold the court

Just hold on…
On this Valentine’s Day, I urge you to reflect on love, its forms and permutations, its complexities and layers.

Peace product of not
Harmony product of not
Love product of not
Joy product of not
Contentment product of not
As soon as I let go

Sometimes, nature conspires to inspire
Arrives the wood snake, as a reminder
As a timely reminder, to expand inward
Reverse the direction to search
Beseech the searcher to befriend
The searched, peel off the layers
To prepare the field, to reach
The unreachable, just a tad beyond

Be a Buddhist, or Daoist, or Confucianist
Or Anyist or Nonist
No matter your path
Move inward
As the wood snake
Arrives
2025 is the Year of the Wood Snake. In Daoism, the wood refers to returning to one’s true nature.

Pageantry parade
Allegorical amends
Transitioning
Reality
In lifetime
Opportunity
To make a mark
In positive or otherwise
Silent watcher
Minding or…
This piece is a commentary on the current political climate and a certain inauguration that recently took place.

What world is possible
Worlds are possible
Worlds of differences are possible
If you choose to

A world where peace brews
Is possible
A world where harmony rules
Is possible

A world where life begins anew
Is possible

Redefining life is possible
Restarting path is possible
Revitalizing spirit is possible
Possibilities are endless

So, my question is
What’s not
This poem questions what kind of world we want to live in.
