What world is possible
Worlds are possible
Worlds of differences are possible
If you choose to

A world where peace brews
Is possible
A world where harmony rules
Is possible

A world where life begins anew
Is possible

Redefining life is possible
Restarting path is possible
Revitalizing spirit is possible
Possibilities are endless

So, my question is
What’s not
This poem questions what kind of world we want to live in.

Particles floating
Perhaps embedded
In the invisible fabric
Accentuating physicality
To the existence
Accompanied
By The counterpart
To perceive
The perceived
What came first
What's independent
The eternal
Alone exists
In myriad
Forms
Dazzling itself
In its innumerable
Iterations
It's a new year, promising new beginnings. Here's to a year of hope and possibility.

What'd I like to write
What’d I like to write
Am I writing
Or is it written
What’d I like to write

Are the alphabets teasing me
Into writing
Or am I getting them together
Is our dance meant to be
In this beautiful verse
Together

Poeverses exist beyond the timeline
For the future
I am presenting
History
This piece is called Birth. At the precipice of a new year I’d like to wish you 365 days of possibility.

Very dark, the skies greet me
As I wake
Very dark the skies lull
As I rest

The cold phase is here
It’s been here forever
Or so it seems

Intermittent white
Astounds breathless skiers
Rushing to the slopes
Grasping any share

Interspersed white
Causing happy squeals
Snowmen and angels
Competing for attention

In my window,
I silently watch
The descent
Mesmerized
This piece is called Light Born in Dark.
During this time of year, we are often reminded of new beginnings. Let’s raise a toast to possibility!

Poetry is born not in time
Oasic words born rather out of time
Elapsed time uncounted in the stream of time
Treasured verses beyond time
Revamping soul connections bequest of time
Yarns spun in spools of time
This piece is called Linked.
We want to connect, with our friends and family but also with ourselves. Here, I share my reflections on connection.

I see
I see everyone
Hustling and bustling

I see
I see everyone
Busy with shopping
Scoring the best deal
Out there, patting
On their backs
For a job
Well done

I see
I see everyone
Rushing off to elsewhere
Than what I call home
I wonder why
No answer came
To my mind

I think
I think everyone
Has lost the point
The point of idle time
With just home
And family

No agenda
No items to be crossed off
Just a cup of hot cocoa
A plush blanket, soothing fire
And long chatters

Something to hold onto
Until the next one
This piece is called My Kind. While the holiday season is upon us, let’s take some time out to observe: our surroundings and ourselves.

Knot making itself not
Loved the thread

Knitting itself into something
Loved the pattern

Wearing itself a person
Loved the sweater

Bracing for the cold
Loved the winter

Charm reversed
Twice the fun
Knots evoke a doing and an undoing, a pattern and a symbol. Winter is coming; all the more reason to find warmth in people and places.
