I have something silly to say
and I am saying it anyway,
I want to tell Tiramisu
"Tiramisu, I love you."

And you may scoff at what I said,
and may not believe what you just read,
but I must confess my words are true
as my love for Tiramisu.

was grace that fed
my starving fate
and gifted treasures
on my plate
and made my being sure
and strong
to travel life
however long.
and grace stayed close
and ever dear
through every laugh
and every tear
and in the
end will carry me
to meet God in eternity.

who has a prayer
who has a care,
a prayer for you
a prayer for me
a prayer for anyone,
you see.

who has a prayer,
a prayer for
all
everywhere.

a prayer of thanks
a prayer of praise
a prayer you feel
the need to raise.

the prayer,
it's there
if, and when you have a care.

if I had a collection
of sacred things,
the concept of those "things"
would not be what
the world brings.

because sacred is holy
and sacred is promised
in hearts and souls,
where what is felt
is what it knows.

my collection would start with love,
the most sacred of all things.

we should all collect sacred things,
it seems.

God said to me
wake up and see,
and I replied oh Lord why?
as I sighed.

God already knew
that I was armed
with all my whys and sighs.

In spite of me
and what I was
with doubts and fears
tales and tears
left to question all that's me,
so I will try
amid my why and my sigh
to wake up and see
as God has said to me.

why not pray,
what do you say?
nothing to lose on any day.

prove me wrong
and to that I say
God is patient
the day is long
so
why not pray?
