With the sunrise
I see
The miracle of day,
The miracle that God
will
never go away.

The miracle of light
Reminding us ALL
He defeated the night.

The miracle of goodness
wrapped in God's
new sun
declaring more chances
before we are done.

More chances to praise
and show others the way
to unwrap the sunshine
on God's brand new day.

The morning glory
Says to me
Our Lord and king
That died for me
Lives and reigns
As breath in me
That's what I feel
And what I see
In every Morning
Glory.

The whole of me
Is not visible
As you see
But know
My passion
Inside
I feel
From
The Holy Spirit
That's real
As God
Leads
My whole
Heart
and
Soul.

Sacred trumps the secular
As death does sure decide
Choose to live forever now
With death the choice has died.

Sometimes it feels
Animosity
Is ridiculously
Portrayed
Displayed
For the sake of
Someone
Who is
A no one
In another's
Book.

But someone needs
To take another look
And see
That sometimes animosity
Is really
Creativity
Or a needful aching plea
That longs
To be
Heard.

If I could pass God's

peace and joy

And His love that fills my soul

Through a simple smile

Or hug

That would be my goal,

For then the hurt in others

Where the soul's a place to hide

Would cower at His Holy fire

And melt away inside.

God is near
I do not fear
What i see
Or what I hear
It is clear
God is near.
