Sacred trumps the secular
As death does sure decide
Choose to live forever now
With death the choice has died.

Sometimes it feels
Animosity
Is ridiculously
Portrayed
Displayed
For the sake of
Someone
Who is
A no one
In another's
Book.

But someone needs
To take another look
And see
That sometimes animosity
Is really
Creativity
Or a needful aching plea
That longs
To be
Heard.

If I could pass God's

peace and joy

And His love that fills my soul

Through a simple smile

Or hug

That would be my goal,

For then the hurt in others

Where the soul's a place to hide

Would cower at His Holy fire

And melt away inside.

God is near
I do not fear
What i see
Or what I hear
It is clear
God is near.

I am here for a purpose

The faith I can't see

But I know through and through

My God calls to me.

The sacred should not
Be subject to all things
We create
Where some things
Are simply hate disguised
As a means
To celebrate.
A world of self
That we defined
Without Holy
Within our mind.

Sacred should be kept
Everyday
With thanks and praise
Not for ourĀ self guided ideologies
That try to
Distort and redefine
The God to whom we pray.

Above all let our sacred stay
Protected and kept sound
Throughout each day
And not mixed with
Our confused, poisoned
Filthy concocted gray.

Words were said
Feelings went wrong
Emotions led
Our struggles along.

Now we live with
Our souls not still
The sea of anger
Tossing our will.

God's plan, our lives
The bond from above
Sisters eternal
Created in love.

Life is too short
Our day like a song
As the morning dew
Is dried up and gone.

The bitter of struggle
In whatever we face
Should surrender to love
In that most sacred space.

However poetic
At the end of the day
"I LOVE YOU" is
All we should say.
