Anxiety coursing though your veins//
Deceptions lay uncovered//
Yet you feel you are not to blame//
You wallow in self pity//
With my dreams being thrown aside//
Crushed every bit of hope I had in hopes that I'd abide//

The fear of failure//
A tumour that keeps me awake in the dead of night//
The definition of darkness that numbs my light//
In hopes of seizing purpose//
Seeing my parents filled with pride//
It's the longing fear of failure that creeps inside my mind//
