Death of beauty
Jhoemoe Harrison Jan 2018
A flat belly, with wide hips

A big **** and thick lips

That's beauty in today's world

What the world considers as beautiful girl

What happened to "oh you have nice eyes"

This world is all about surgery, botox and "I want thick thighs"

Why does being **** differ from being smart?

Why is a woman loved for her rubber ******* rather than her heart?

When did we start measuring beauty based on the size of hips and *******?

And we hardly give or plastic surgeons any rest

Why do we consider small ******* and stretch marks as being bizarre?

While we embrace lip injections and implants

Do you even remember your natural hair color?

Why do you give beauty industries so much power?

Take a minute and think

Because the death of natural beauty is on the brink

GONE
Jhoemoe Harrison Jan 2018
I tried to drink my fears away

Yes, that liquor saved the day

It seemed like pain and life had become the same thing

Because pain was the only thing life would bring

I knew losing a loved one would be no gentle shower of rain

But oh my, never did I expect a hurricane

I really thought that I would feel sad

But instead all I felt was anger

Deep within me because of all the love I had

As days became weeks and weeks became months

The person I once was became obsolete

Because apart of me is gone and I'll never be complete

— The End —
