I ask the angels
Jude Nov 25
I ask the angels
Why it is that I am awake
But yet solely live in slumbers.

The moon and the sea
Jude Dec 8
Like the moon
     you pull me towards
         but too soon
  you push me away.
We never touch, but
      -like ebb and flow-
I am forever entangled with you.

Dandelion
Jude 5d
Dandelion,
The rustling of your hair makes me dream about trees.

I swallow your words ,
           they nest inside my belly.
I grow your thoughts,
            they'll flower and I'll sing.

You breathe the warm summer-air
that shyly lounges as April comes to an end.

We will meet each other on the edges of cast sunlight
and shadow of foliage.
Letter to Dandelion.

A flame
Jude Nov 19
Because you long
to a flame
just out of reach.

Bringer
Jude Dec 4
Look at me
when I laugh heavenly.

And look at me
when I dissolve into the grey.

Look at me
when I steal all of the Light
and take it to the Darkness.

I dream
Jude Nov 10
I dream of a woods
with a house in it's middle.
I dream of images
I do not dare to describe in daylight.
I dream of friends
that do not exist.

Sometimes I even dream about the future,
but it has been long since
I dreamt about love, or the sun.
It has been too long
since I dreamt about a laugh, or you.

In these dark days
Jude Nov 19
In these dark days
I carry you with me like a coat.
You protect me from rain
look back from behind the glass.
pull me out of the water and
into your boat.

The sea rising
Jude Nov 28
Do not forget
That dogs not only bark but can bite;
         blue is a primary color.
Still you evade and forgo
The sea rising from under your feet.

The hour of evening
Jude Nov 19
In the hour of evening,
     the hour of mist,
I wait in the vacuum
as you sneak into my breath.
You silence all the light of the room
and I stare,
blind and hollow,
into the darkness.

You are the source
              the last remaining sunbeam
But you depart, slip away
leave me behind, leave me behind
And I am still sightless
as I wait, alone in the dark.

In the hour of evening,
     the hour of mist.

That she is, that she is
your breath catches and your heart quickens its pace.

You silence and choke,
the air flows heavy and slow,
slumbering poisonous above your head.

She lies there, just over there.
Her dark hair falling down like pouring rain,
drowning the grass,
It catches the light.

But she doesn't see you,
she is not there
       was not
       will not
               look at you.

You miss her, your miss her
How she talks
                 smiles.

It's not fair.
You're simply
                         not
                                there.

As you lie
Jude Nov 10
As you lie heavy on my chest,
circled by the weeds and my
hands resting on your skin,
I believe I'm sinking through the matress.

And I find what I have been searching for.
I finally found
               lived
the dream
in daytime.

A certain beauty
Jude Nov 10
Open your eyes
Azure they shine
I want you nearer, closer, so I can touch,
But you are no longer mine.

There is a little house
Buried in my heart
It’s you who is wandering there, lost, almost like
You don’t know where to start.

Maybe it is better to run alone
Alongside the birds, on the grass
Because in such small space, your breath chatches,
Or it might be mine that has.

Give me a thought
I long to that space inbetween
You don’t understand my wanting to be lost, but I promise,
There hides a certain beauty in.

In times of hunger
Jude Nov 13
In times of hunger I will take you along
I will carry you on my wings
and fly into the night.
- carry you with me, towards the sun
and before you can cry
I will kiss you on both cheeks
trace your tears all the way down.
watch you fall asleep as I hum.

In times of hunger we will travel east
-you, guiding the way so clever-
where the sun waits lower, her rays lazily expecting us
and we live in daylight forever.

Here
Jude Nov 27
Here is where I feel at ease,
This cave shaped like a home.
Here I sing and wash the dishes,
Just me, comfortably alone.

Here I can just be,
No need, no need
To talk in cryptics:
Here I am free.
I long to return home.

Dew
Jude Nov 25
Dew
As they stroke the summit of the trees,
My fingers find their breath.

And rolling over the landscape of my neck,
Is a drop,
Springs a new source.

There settles a long awaited dew,
In the grass beneath my hands.

And your eyes catch the colors of the morning.

December
Jude 5d
At the end of the day
I sit lonely and expect
that I will fall asleep artlessly.
But there is nothing
as desolate like December.
     nothing
as unsetteling like frost, biting its way
into my lungs.

Howling
Jude Dec 4
Buried inside my chest
something strange has set,
slowly it aches in the hidden hollow,
between my rib cage and heart.

There, where nothing ever was before, now
throbs a sorrow against the inside.

It scalds and sings in over a thousand languages and notes.

But the only voice that I can hear
is a child’s howling.

The Edge
Jude Dec 8
On a scale from one to the edge
I can feel my body slowly leaning over,
  sink down
  slide off the rocks.
And the sky has never felt so cold and unforgiving.

As my body catches the dust
it drags along my breath stubbornly,
And the stars have never looked so distant.
