Crow’s Balance
The waves roll in as the crow hops between driftwood logs. Spying food with a cocked head and wary of the human who dropped it but quick to take at a safe distance. Life’s rewards are a balance of risk for the chances improving one’s outcome. There is no chance for reward without taking a risk. Learning to trust in what is a safe distance is key to survival.

Space and Time
Perception of time can seem fast or slow. Each instant a forever, every year a quick turn of the page. Feelings of filling the universe and then shirking to the size of an atom. Living can be like a dream or filled with painful reality. Which is it,  for us in time and space, can define our being, present barriers that become opportunities, slow down the race and make us feel tall.

Becoming Solid
In the fog, the image looks like an apparition, diffuse light wrapped around the figure walking closer. Memories of a forgotten time in youth when close relations between family members were essential and fully formed ourselves out of the mist. Our character sharpened by repetition of expectations, stepping forward, coming into focus, out of fragments into a solid, who we were meant to be.
