Asking me if I miss her,
Would be like asking,
The stars if they miss the nights,
Asking the sun if it miss it’s warmth,
Or asking the ocean if it miss it tides,
I haven see the most beautiful flowers,
But they all have the same sent,
I got the see the most beautiful sights around me,
But the wind winded the same at each,
Only ever in your presence,
The wind whispered a  sweet fragrance to a flower,
A sent so beautiful it’s like God intervened,
I would recognize you in total darkness,
If you were mute and I deaf I would recognize you in a whole other lifetime,
In different bodies different times,
And I will love you in all of this,
Till the last star in the  universe dies,
They asked me “do you love her to death?”
I replied “if you speak her name over my gave watch and see it brings me back to life”

I know you will never be mine,
But still,
I close my eyes,
And dream about how beautiful it would be,
If our two souls become one,
In my dream,
The world seems to pause,
And everything feels right,
I dream about us walking hand in hand,
Sharing all our secrets under the stars,
And laughing without a care in the world,
Painting this master piece of a love so pure yet so tender,
But every dream is met with reality and I feel it tugging at my sleeve,
Reality kicks in reminding me of the boundaries that separate us,
So I try so hard to hold to these dreams,
Cherishing them as precious what ifs,
Knowing that some stories are meant to never be told,
And some loves are meant to linger,
In the silent corners of our hearts,
But how impossible it may seem,
I keep hoping that someday my dreams can come true.

You asked why do I love you?
But let me just say falling in love wasn’t part of the plan,
Until I met you, I didn’t believe in love,
And I wanted no part of it,
But then you came and changed everything,
I can sit here and tell you,
That I love your smile that outshines the moon,
That I love your stary eyes that hold more beauty than the heavens,
That I love your personality that’s so pure the gods are jealous,
And it’s all true.
But it still doesn’t even come close to how I see you and feel about you,
All I know on the day we met my soul became overflowed with joy,
There is no one reason to why I love you,
But if I must use one sentence it will be,
“I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you.”
You are truly the closest thing to an angel I ever met,
I will be loving you until the last star in the universe dies.

I could of never imagine myself getting addicted to you so easily,
It was like one day you were a stranger,
And the next day I couldn’t imagine day without you,
Your smile became my favourite master piece,
Your voice my favourite sound,
And the time I spent with you the highlight of my day I always look forward to,
It’s so rare to find someone who resonates with you on so many levels,
Who feels like the missing piece I have been missing,
With you darling every conversation is like an advebture,
And evry silence is comfortable,
You’ve have become a part of my routine,
I eagerly look forword to,
A habit that fills my soul with joy and warmth,
Your presence in my life is like a comforting melody that I want to listen to on repeat,
As everyday passes know that my affection for you only deepens,
You’re not just another part of my life,
You’re part of my soul,
I got addicted to you so easily,
And if I’m being honest I don’t ever want to find the cure.

I met this girl who holds all her pain, anger and suffering like its glass,
Who’s gotten so used to carrying it,
That even tho it bruises her shoulders,
She won’t let go,
I watch and stare wishing I could help,
I don’t even know if she knows what it’s like to be happy,
I met this girl, but she wouldn’t full let me inside,
Because when everyone in her life let her down,
Why would she trust a stranger,
This girl I am learning for a long time lived in lack,
So even when the love was wrong,
She will still always take them back,
Because something is better than nothing at all,
But is love really love when they’re the same one pushing you to fall?
As I watch this girl get older,
She grew to a point that she thinks she can’t trust anyone anymore,
But can I blame her? No.
But the girl I met still lingered within her still,
Her pain turned into oceans of sorrow,
And with all this pain became empty,
She was never thought how to deal with all this pain,
I met this girl who holds all her pain, anger and suffering like its glass,
Constantly being told that the way she feels will one day pass,
But one day she’s frustrated and she’s never been one to yell,
So she fell to the ground and starts crying so hard,
Guess what fell
And all the pieces shatter,
All the shame and the guilt,
she tries her hardest to pick them up,
But you know how the saying goes,
You can’t fix glass,
I saw this girl wounded on the floor,
And I saw her pick herself up and say,
“I don’t want to carry this anymore”

I remember years ago I made a rule for myself,
That is to never fall for a friend,
But from the moment I met you,
I could see no other end,
I always try to follow the rules I have for myself,
So I try to keep this  secret,
But it’s so hard to pretend that I still have my heart,
But there is so much about you I can’t help but admire,
Like the way your eyes sparkle when you smile,
And the way your tiny dimple sinks deeper as you laugh,
The way you sit and think of everybody’s feelings,
The way you so dance randomly,
Has me asking how in God’s great name can someone not fall in love with you?
Everytime I see I wish I was a camera so I can always capture your beauty,
Even tho no camera has the capability to capture such a beautiful creation,
I’m not saying you are perfect because sometimes you do mess up,
But you always try your best,
I could mention that has no importance but yet some how even after months you still remember,
I could listen to you talk for eons,
Because I like hearing you talk,
But in silence with you I can sit endlessly,
Overthinking has always been a full time job for me,
But for you I’ll quit,
Because if my rule where made of glass,
Well my dear, you have long broken that glass,
But I’ll forever keep that to myself,
Because I don’t want to be heartbroken,
And I know if ever were to tell you this,
I will be indeed heart broken.

Your presence feels so familiar,
I must of loved you in lifetimes before,
I shall always care you my love,
Even if we are not together,
And even if we are far apart,
I have never met a soul who understood mimes,
Until my eyes met you,
You are fluent in me,
Please promise me not to hide when you’re in pain,
Because it’s not fair that we laugh together,
And you cried alone,
I may never find words to describe all that you are to me,
But I’ll never stop searching,
From the moment I saw you,
I fell in love,
The way you smiled,
Because you knew,
I found you without looking,
And my heart loves you without trying,
If it had a star for everytime I thought about you,
There would be only one star,
but it shall be the brightest,
because the moment I saw you,
you never left my mind,
All my dreams of the future have one thing in common,
And that’s you my love.

From the very moment my eyes gazed upon you,
I promised myself that this heart of mine would never wander,
That it well never seek another,
My heart vowed to never love another,
To never feel the way I feel for you to another,
Our journey will be filled with challenges,
And it’s a path we’ll take together hand in hand,
We shall face every storm,
Every high and low,
My priority,
My deepest commitment,
Is to make us last,
Not just for a lifetime,
But each lifetime we are given,
Our love will be a fortress that is unbreakable,
Each obstacle and each trail we overcome,
Will only strengthen the bond we share,
It will forge a resilience in our love,
Every obstacle will be a brick in the foundation of our love,
Making it even more unbreakable,
I can’t envision a future if you’re not a part of it,
A life without you is like a night sky without stars,
Or a book without words,

Time is always to short for those who want it,

I got addicted to you so easily,

And I appreciate you more than I can show,
Please tell me everytime our eyes meet,

And tell me I’m not the only one wide awake ,

Tell me I’m not the only one picking my phone,
Every second of every hour each night instead of sleeping,
Because I miss you,
I want only your attention,
And with that my life would be complete.

You broke my heart into a million pieces but,
Even if your glanced turned me into stone,
I’ll gladly be a statue in ancient Greece,
And if a single touch from you caused me to shatter like glass,
I’ll be in pieces with each piece loving you more,
And if your kiss turned me blind,
You’ll still be the only light that I can see,
And if your hugs turned all my days into night,
At least I’ll be able to see the stars that sparkle in your eyes,
There is just somethings you can’t control,
Like a compass needle point true north,
And I know just by writing this poem,
I run the risk of being more heartbroken,
But I need you to know that even if I knew that the day I met you,
You’ll shatter this heart I’ll love you anyway.

I have a crush on you,
But not in the way crushes work today,
Where you look up their Instagram and lurk,
I mean in the way I want to record your voice,
And play it back because it brings my peace,
I mean for you I’d be put together,
Get rid of all my bad habits because you make me want to be better,
You open my eyes to new perspective,
You reflect the best parts of me,
But hold space for the worst,
I mean when I look into your eyes,
I thank God on everyone’s’ behalf,
I know how this might go,
But life’s to short to be scared,
So here I am writing this poem,
To tell you that you are the most beautiful person God ever created,
And I’ll love nothing more than for you to give me a chance.

Have you ever fallen for someone so hard knowing they’ll never fall for you?
Did you ever felt like screaming and crying but what good will that do?
Did you close your eyes hoping with will never open again?
Did you ever sit and wish that their heart will call out to you?
Did you ever showed them that you’ll love them till the end of time but could never say it?
Remember how they lift you standing there with tear drops in your eyes?
And how they just let you walk away without saying goodbye?
So listen to what I am about to tell you now my friend,
Never fall in love, you’ll see my friend you’ll see it doesn’t pay,
It will have you thinking that it’s beautiful and fine,
Then you’ll see that the price is high,
If I had  to choose to love again or die,
I’ll choose death,
Again my friend I say never fall in love you’ll see it doesn’t pay,
It isn’t worth the heartache along the way,
See my friend I know all of this to be true because I fell in love with you

When I say “I miss you”,
It means more than those three words,
I’m not the type of person that uses those three words often,
If I tell you I miss you,
It means that you mean a lot to me,
I know that not everyone sticks around,
But if I’m being honest I don’t want you to leave,
I want you to stick around,
Because I love you,
No change that,
I’m in love with you,
You’re the love of my life,
All my feelings are controlled by you,
I can’t breathe without you,
I’ll wait for you forever,
Just like the moon can’t shine without the sun,
I can’t shine without you because you are my sun,
I’ll be loving you until the last bit of light in the universe fades away

I use to be a person that left my doors unlocked,
And lights one,
Hoping someone would come and just finish me off,
I use to stay up all night long counting the stars and hours,
My heart was so empty could have gotten lost,
I use to feel so dam ******* empty,
I traded piece of my heart for temporary happiness,
Till’ I became a hollow shell of myself,
I gave up on taking chances,
I put up so many walls,
It was like a castle protecting my heart,
But ever since I met you,
My heart became full,
There are no longer any vacancies,
My walls came crashing down,
All because of you,
Through to you I learnt how to find happiness in everything,
And because of you I feel like I can fly,
I love you

I just want you to know I didn’t plan any of this,
I just happen to fall in love with you,
I don’t know if it was your smile,
Your kindness,
Your starry eyes,
Or your essence,
But on that day I saw you,
My soul began to express itself in poems,
Verses that you cannot image me writing for you,
Each time we talk my soul screams out “I love you”,
And even though I know,
That your kisses and hugs,
Don’t belong to me yet,
I LOVE YOU ANYWAY.
