When I say “I miss you”,
It means more than those three words,
I’m not the type of person that uses those three words often,
If I tell you I miss you,
It means that you mean a lot to me,
I know that not everyone sticks around,
But if I’m being honest I don’t want you to leave,
I want you to stick around,
Because I love you,
No change that,
I’m in love with you,
You’re the love of my life,
All my feelings are controlled by you,
I can’t breathe without you,
I’ll wait for you forever,
Just like the moon can’t shine without the sun,
I can’t shine without you because you are my sun,
I’ll be loving you until the last bit of light in the universe fades away

I use to be a person that left my doors unlocked,
And lights one,
Hoping someone would come and just finish me off,
I use to stay up all night long counting the stars and hours,
My heart was so empty could have gotten lost,
I use to feel so dam ******* empty,
I traded piece of my heart for temporary happiness,
Till’ I became a hollow shell of myself,
I gave up on taking chances,
I put up so many walls,
It was like a castle protecting my heart,
But ever since I met you,
My heart became full,
There are no longer any vacancies,
My walls came crashing down,
All because of you,
Through to you I learnt how to find happiness in everything,
And because of you I feel like I can fly,
I love you

I just want you to know I didn’t plan any of this,
I just happen to fall in love with you,
I don’t know if it was your smile,
Your kindness,
Your starry eyes,
Or your essence,
But on that day I saw you,
My soul began to express itself in poems,
Verses that you cannot image me writing for you,
Each time we talk my soul screams out “I love you”,
And even though I know,
That your kisses and hugs,
Don’t belong to me yet,
I LOVE YOU ANYWAY.
