You smiled at the sky and
I smiled at you.
Your eyes were fixed at the bright blue sky
And mine at yours.

You looked at the world
And I looked at it as well,
But, through your eyes.
Your world is a big one
But my world is only you.

The garden seems empty
without the flowers.
And the flower,
it is empty without its scent.
Likewise, I feel empty without you.

Distance may separate us but
our hearts can never be apart.
Circumstances may not allow us to meet,
but our separation is not forever.

Our bodies are mortal creations
But our souls, they are immortal,
as well as connected.
Our hearts are linked,
through the red string of fate.

My eyes feel tired and my heart worthless,
when you are not around.
Happiness is being with you.
And surely,
Life is empty without you!

When I was down with sad emotions
and depressing thoughts,
I had forgotten the true purpose
of life.
The truth ******,
and the lie, though comforting
was unacceptable to my heart
I was left in the whirlpool of confusions,
in the maze of misunderstandings.
Lost in the path of life!

In the mirages and illusions   of the
world,
A desperate soul I was.
But
When my eyes fell on you,
they could see light of truth
and love.
They understood that you are the
"oasis",
in the world's dreary desert.

My eyes locked your image in them
and stored it in my memory lane.
The fear of losing your "sweet"
image,
made me remember you every
second.
You became my habit
and my heart your slave.

Then while walking in the
lonely path of life,
I ran into you again.
I stood frozen,
my eyes fixed at you.
At that moment, my brain was
willing to speak
but my tongue was afraid.

My heart was burning in the flame
of love,
And just then I realized that
you are that faraway star,
whom I could only admire and
never touch.
My sweet dream of getting you
somehow started cracking
and I was broken.

Just then a baby ray of hope,
whispered to me,
"Hanging and wiving goes by destiny."
Suddenly the cracks of my dream
started healing
And I was joining my pieces back.

I felt maybe destiny had kept
something "good" for us,
Maybe I end up being your "wife",
And maybe we end up being each
other's "life".
Maybe....
