All lights extinguished, I lie in bed,
Gorgeous feelings in my heart and head.
The day's energy fueled by love we've said,
Reaching my brain's stem, into REM, I'm led.

Into my unconscious mind, a swim, a flow,
Following the stream, thoughts gather and grow.
Building a background theme, as my soul paints the dream,
Pictures of you emerge, a surreal and vibrant scene.

It begins; I'm seated, playing my guitar,
You by my side, twinkling as a star.
A lucid dream, for you're actually far,
An ache lingers, a scar on my heart's radar.

Being away from you, it hurts, leaves a mark,
Yet, having you in dreams keeps me in the dark.
Deadly in love, unsure if my words are showing,
With you, always, in dreams or reality, continuously glowing.

Around you, the sun shines with radiant light,
A heart pure and cloud white.
In your presence, even the busiest cities sound quiet,
Falling for you every night, passion's flame alight.

Around you, all my passions passionately ignite,
Everything you say, in my eyes, is eternally right.
My gaze fixed, unable to look away from your sight,
Tonight, I'll dream of you, a dream so bright.

Without you, I see no light,
Unable to compose or write.
A shieldless knight in love's fight,
To reach you, I'd embark on a million flights.

For you, I'd fight the mightiest fight,
Even if it meant a dynamite's explosive light.
Everything about you, perfectly designed,
An angel as paradise's books have outlined.

To those blind to your grace, I don't mind,
For, darling, you possess my heart, soul, and mind.

Honey, you're alive and real, a vibrant zeal,
The way you make me feel, every emotion ideal.
In love with you, my dear, the weeks feel like a year,
You're my atmosphere, my sweet little engineer.

I wish I were near, being around you, paradise sincere,
My heart already adheres, to yours so clear.
In our love world, you and I claim first and second,
Everyone else, a distant third, love's testament.

Your voice, the most beautiful I've ever heard,
You, my sweet loving bird, my lifetime dream assured.
Clear as crystal, nothing is blurred,
Promise to never hurt, a vow from the start secured.

Deep down inside my heart, you'll reside,
In love's journey, with you, as my guide.

I love you more than chocolate's sweet delight,
Missing your smile exceeds what I can bear in the night.
Wishing your year ahead is truly great,
Happy Birthday from this distant state.

Dedicating all the twinkling, beautiful things,
To you, the joy and happiness they bring.
Keep being crazy, don't let sanity rule,
Immaturity and craziness, are sometimes, life's true fuel.

Little things matter, often the deepest cure,
Thank you for everything, your presence so pure.
My poetry skills may be poor,
But the love in my heart, forever and more.

It's beautiful waking up to you every morning,
Knowing your presence, a delight that keeps dawning.
Your voice, angelic and soothing,
Leaves me no choice but to deeply fall, love's sweet brewing.

Every call you make, a chance to adore,
Can't get enough, always needing more.
Now, you're my soul, my very core,
All I wish for, like nothing seen before.

If love is energy, you can despair and restore,
A heart, akin to a capacitor, can charge and explore.
Partially discharged by first love, it can adore,
My heart is ready, full of love to pour.

The love I hold for you, words can't express,
How much I long to see you in the white dress.
Perhaps love is one of the few things, words never enough,
Everything about you, I truly miss and love.

For the record, my heart has never felt so alive,
With you, a love that will eternally thrive.

"What if I never find and I'm left behind?
Should I keep hoping for love?"
Lyrics from a favorite song, long ago, sung.
Found you, where my love truly belongs,
Several years it took, but hope remained strong.

No more "What ifs," doubts, all gone,
Our love, still young, with every breath, it's drawn.
Growing old with each lung-filled breath,
Wiser with each "I love you," a vow to outlast death.

Who said love makes us weak?
It renders us gentle, elegant, our words meek.
Describing our love in its second week,
Everything about it, uniquely mystique.

From the possibilities that made us meet,
To the sweetness in every heartbeat.
With you, everything feels so complete,
Honey, when you're around, love's journey is replete.

She didn't answer for a minute,
Uncertainty lingers, I sense it.
Crossed a limit, no turning back,
In this moment, it's either white or black.

For a second, she goes offline,
What if she isn't mine?
Will I be fine?
Questions echo, thoughts entwine.
