We never know how high we are
Till we are asked to rise
And then if we are true to plan
Our statures touch the skies—

The Heroism we recite
Would be a normal thing
Did not ourselves the Cubits warp
For fear to be a King—
You know,
I'm not sure if I'm
in love with you,
Or just the idea of you.
But I am sure that
I have to let go,
Because even though
you make me feel invincible,
You also break me down to pieces.

In a perfect world,
I wouldn't have to.
