Never in the world...
Arijit Das Jun 2016
Never in the world I expected
That she would pass away.
Never in the world I would now see
Her sitting grimly gay.

Never in the world I will ever feel
Her caressing touch.
Never in the world I could hug
Her with a playful lurch.

I am here, sitting at the windowsill.
Crying amongst the rituals and terrible din.
Out of the window
Going past was my beloved's coffin.

Seeing that hit me like a glassy shard
Because she was like my prized skin of a pard.
