How can I express what my heart longs to say?
I yearn to hold you, yet six thousand miles keep us at bay.
At times, I dream of soaring through the skies,
Swimming vast oceans, or crossing lands wide,
Just to rest in the warmth of your arms, my guide.
I cannot explain why I feel this way,
But your voice transforms me in every display.
Like a star so beautiful, it stirs my awe,
Yet fear whispers—what if you get tired of it all?
But let me cast aside all doubt and despair,
For my love is eternal, beyond compare.
Fear not, my love, that my eyes will stray,
For me, you outshine four billion girls in every way.
I do not jest, for who am I to deceive
An angel like you, who makes me believe?
You may not be the first I’ve called mine,
Nor the first to whom I’ve said “I love you” in time.
But from this day forth, I solemnly vow,
You’ll be the only one I’ll marry somehow.
To others, our love may seem too swift,
"How can you love when you barely know her?" they persist.
But why heed voices that doubt or deny?
If I don’t know you well yet, I’ll give it a try—
Once more, I long to embrace you near,
To feel your breath as you lay here.
To gently stroke your hair, so divine,
Until sleep claims you in peace, so sublime.
My love, like an angel in radiant light,
Your beauty blinds me, a heavenly sight.
Your hair like silk, your voice like melody—
Each note a song that captivates me.
In the days ahead, I promise, my dear,
To cherish you always, to hold you near.
Through trials or triumphs, come what may,
I’ll stand by you every step of the way.
Even when storms threaten our skies,
My love will endure, steadfast and high.
For my heart has vowed, unshaken and true,
To journey through life forever with you.
