Caesar
Hank Pym May 2017
I am Caesar
King of my world
And happy as can be

I am Caesar
King of my empire
And friendship is key

I am Caesar
King of my castle
And betrayal surrounds me
God, I hate backstabbers

Gone With the Wind
Hank Pym Mar 2017
As you leave
For wonder afar
Know that I am here
Dying
Like a caterpillar
Going into its cocoon
Awaiting glorious rebirth
But now I have to wait
Days?
Months?
Years?
Until I see you again
I am hanging from this tree
While you have gone and are
Gone with the wind
Goodbye my friend.  I will see you soon.

Call a Doctor (How Strange)
Hank Pym Dec 2016
( A man has fallen and cannot get up)

I walk in the room and see him
Laying on the floor moaning
Like he is in a mystical slumber
And cannot awake

Call a Doctor!
     (How Strange!)
     (But why?)
     (Leave him where he lie.)
Call some One
     (How Strange!)
     (But why?)
(He is Ancient and ready to die.)
Good bye my friend
Our parting saddens me
But i have no help
For you

Bye Mom
Bye Dad
I'm gone
I'm sad
Bye Felipe
Bye Juan
I wish I could sit
And eat a wan-ton
Bye Evanthia
I don't want to go
I cannot stay
But I'm at an utter low
I've lost my first friend
Who was drifting away
Maybe it was destined
That our friendship
Would die out one day
I won't except it
I'm coming back
To get back my friend
Hold up! Let me pack
Back I arrive
Hi Dad
Hi Mom
I'm sorry left
I know I was wrong
Hi Evanthia
I missed your
Cute little song
Time to get her back
My friend of 'ole
I will see you after
I have accomplished my goal
Evanthia is my sister.  I love her very much.  She's my little Wasp.

sadness
Hank Pym Dec 2016
drifting through the air
waiting
waiting
waiting
for the ground to burst up and hit me
like the punch of relief and happiness
but it never comes
the winds of distrust
continue to reside
and never let go of me
like a mother clinging to her child
in a big hug
let me go
i long for happieness
the thing that finds almost everyone but me
the tears fall like the leaves
waiting
waiting
waiting
to hit the ground
where there is a utopia of happieness
without sorrow
pain
lies
and distrust
where not even your dearest family can trust you
and toilets seem rather welcoming
can't it just be over
can't it all just stop
can't everything just be

perfect?
or am i cursed to a life of despair
where i am not loved
and no one forgives me for the mistakes that i have made?
do the dear love me?
does anyone?

so many unanswered questions

waiting
waiting
waiting
for the answers to come
no answers are coming anytime soon

these are the times i hate being a teenager
and wish i could be five
when the world was perfect
and my mommy loved me

Why Me?
Hank Pym Dec 2016
Why Me?
Why is my life so sad?
Why is my life so sucky?
Why is my life so cruel?
Why is my life so killed?
Why is my life so unforgiving?
Why is does this happen to me?
Why is my life so unforgiving?
Why is my life so killed?
Why is my life so cruel?
Why is my life so sucky?
Why is my life so sad?
Why me, mom?
Why not another?

Love is a Wind Turbine
Hank Pym Oct 2016
Love is a wind turbine
An animated spinner
That goes round
And round
It has almost
Become meaningless
And in some cases abusive
Especially with you, my love

You may have my number
You can take my name
But you will never
Have my heart

Like a windmill in a tornado
We go around like crazy
When the wind calms
The blades stop
And the mill is torn down

STOP!             STOP!
STOP!    STOP!   Love,
I  do  not  need  you
A thorn in my side
Preventing me
From loving
Another
Who
I

Appreciate
Need

No matter what our races were...

Over four score and seven years ago
We the people of the United States of America
Had pledged our allegiance
And written our John Hancocks
For the country that we love
It gives me life, liberty, and happiness
But after all, a little rebellion now and then is a good thing

And I have a dream
That it will get even better
For all men are created equal
This poem was made in a specific way.  In the second stanza, every line is made up of a famous White American quote.  These were put first to show the superiority of whites in many people's eyes.
Then in the third stanza, I put the famous African American quote, "I have a dream" showing what is to come for other races.
I finish the poem with "all men are created equal," a famous white patriot quote that also shows white support for the idea of the equality.  I have disregarded the final line's original historical intention and that it was directed for only white men.

This poem might express some argument but I want to express what I feel.  After all, poetry is expression of emotion. :-)

If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day till eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you

If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure and then
Again, I would spend them with you

But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do, once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go through time with

If I had a box just for wishes
And dreams that had never come true
The box would be empty, except for the memory of how
They were answered by you

Praise to My Younger Sister
Hank Pym Oct 2016
Praise be to God!

Like a shell on a turtle
She is always here for me

At 5:00 in the afternoon when I am crying about all the work that I have
You tell me that it'll be okay and not to worry

At 8:00 at night when you need to be in bed
You stay up past your bedtime and lend an arm and a leg

At 6:00 in the morning when you are just out of bed
You wet my face with dozens of kisses and warm me with hugs

God bless you my angel
Hosanna
Hosanna on the highest
Praise to my messiah
Who hath cometh to save me
My gift from God

When I twas but a tot
I asked for a playmate
But I got something better
A helper
A forever friend
A supporter
A younger sister

Praise be to God!

Schizophrenia
Hank Pym Oct 2016
Everywhere I go
I am haunted
By thought and threats

Clowns
Alternate realities
Anger
Slowness
And the Madcap in my head
Laughing at every step I take
Throughout the sovereign path

I must remember what
Is going on
And realize that this illness is not on me
And that I am in charge of what is going on
I am superior in this disease

The sad part is
By tomorrow, I will forget
And my body will tire

Someday
I will become of the Earth
In the mausoleum where I lay
In a foreign land
Where I think that I am from
And on this judgmental day
Things are going to get a little easier
Schizophrenia is a mental illness that this poem is based off of.  Almost every line in the poem is a direct symptom of the illness, but others are more cryptic.

The Truth About Deadpool
Hank Pym Oct 2016
I love this guy
I really do
But he is like a credit card
Every time he gets used, things get worse
Hear me out

He killed his own parents
Uses his own daughter as bait for super villains
Kills people a lot
Constantly betrays his friend Bob by knocking the time out of him
Stole Dracula's fiancé and slept with her with a family present.
Taught her that the police were bad guys.
And so much more.

Now you tell me
Is he really a "hero?"
Leave a comment as your answer to the final question.

Substitute Racist
Hank Pym Oct 2016
As the sub tells me about ancient China
I frown
Just let me work
An idiot screams, "How do the Chinese speak?"
And he responds,
"Ching Chang Chong Choong"

Now I scowl
Racist
The kids laugh
Racists
I am white, but I care
No one should be treated that way

This man is the sub for math

Deadpool to Their Madcap
Hank Pym Oct 2016
When the voices start talking
I start listening

They tell me,
"Your mom never loved you"
"Dad thinks your a joke"
"Everyone at school hates you"
"At lunch, you sit with a girl who can't even hear you"
"You are an outsider"
"Pull the BLASTED TRIGGER"
"JUMP"

I'm like the Deadpool to their Madcap
I am in control
I won't lie, I have been hearing voices since September telling me things like this.  Am I a psychotic?  Probably not, but hey!  Who doesn't like a nutjob?

The part about the girl at lunch is an Easter egg to a girl that I know who is hard of hearing.

My bodies have fluid, movement, and life
I try to vary my lengths, stanzas, and meanings
Everyone does, but mine is different
Maybe even unique

What People Think

Shrinking

Mom
Hank Pym Oct 2016
Mom
The dictionary calls her
a female parent
noun
but she is so much more

She is here for me when I need her and gone when I please
She shows me the path that brought her her weathered knees
She loves me when I am nasty and kind to me at night
Moms are more than they seem to be, now tell me am I right?
I love you mom!

Awakening
Hank Pym Oct 2016
I sense an awakening
From all of the world
One of
Peace
Friendship
and Happiness

I sense an awakening
From all of "them"
One of
Hate
Destruction
and Ruin

When the time comes
What side will you be on?
One day the world will awaken with a blowout battle.
A civil war if you please.
When this happens we must know where we stand.
Think about it.

Drifting into the Fall
Hank Pym Oct 2016
Falling
Falling
Like autumn's leaves
With every step we take
You and I
The Adam and Eve
In our Garden of Eden
We may be real
We may be tall tale
But we together
Drifting
Sinning
With every step we take
Into the fall

— The End —
