No matter what our races were...

Over four score and seven years ago
We the people of the United States of America
Had pledged our allegiance
And written our John Hancocks
For the country that we love
It gives me life, liberty, and happiness
But after all, a little rebellion now and then is a good thing

And I have a dream
That it will get even better
For all men are created equal
This poem was made in a specific way.  In the second stanza, every line is made up of a famous White American quote.  These were put first to show the superiority of whites in many people's eyes.
Then in the third stanza, I put the famous African American quote, "I have a dream" showing what is to come for other races.
I finish the poem with "all men are created equal," a famous white patriot quote that also shows white support for the idea of the equality.  I have disregarded the final line's original historical intention and that it was directed for only white men.

This poem might express some argument but I want to express what I feel.  After all, poetry is expression of emotion. :-)

If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day till eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you

If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure and then
Again, I would spend them with you

But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do, once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go through time with

If I had a box just for wishes
And dreams that had never come true
The box would be empty, except for the memory of how
They were answered by you

Praise be to God!

Like a shell on a turtle
She is always here for me

At 5:00 in the afternoon when I am crying about all the work that I have
You tell me that it'll be okay and not to worry

At 8:00 at night when you need to be in bed
You stay up past your bedtime and lend an arm and a leg

At 6:00 in the morning when you are just out of bed
You wet my face with dozens of kisses and warm me with hugs

God bless you my angel
Hosanna
Hosanna on the highest
Praise to my messiah
Who hath cometh to save me
My gift from God

When I twas but a tot
I asked for a playmate
But I got something better
A helper
A forever friend
A supporter
A younger sister

Praise be to God!

Everywhere I go
I am haunted
By thought and threats

Clowns
Alternate realities
Anger
Slowness
And the Madcap in my head
Laughing at every step I take
Throughout the sovereign path

I must remember what
Is going on
And realize that this illness is not on me
And that I am in charge of what is going on
I am superior in this disease

The sad part is
By tomorrow, I will forget
And my body will tire

Someday
I will become of the Earth
In the mausoleum where I lay
In a foreign land
Where I think that I am from
And on this judgmental day
Things are going to get a little easier
Schizophrenia is a mental illness that this poem is based off of.  Almost every line in the poem is a direct symptom of the illness, but others are more cryptic.

I love this guy
I really do
But he is like a credit card
Every time he gets used, things get worse
Hear me out

He killed his own parents
Uses his own daughter as bait for super villains
Kills people a lot
Constantly betrays his friend Bob by knocking the time out of him
Stole Dracula's fiancé and slept with her with a family present.
Taught her that the police were bad guys.
And so much more.

Now you tell me
Is he really a "hero?"
Leave a comment as your answer to the final question.

As the sub tells me about ancient China
I frown
Just let me work
An idiot screams, "How do the Chinese speak?"
And he responds,
"Ching Chang Chong Choong"

Now I scowl
Racist
The kids laugh
Racists
I am white, but I care
No one should be treated that way

This man is the sub for math

When the voices start talking
I start listening

They tell me,
"Your mom never loved you"
"Dad thinks your a joke"
"Everyone at school hates you"
"At lunch, you sit with a girl who can't even hear you"
"You are an outsider"
"Pull the BLASTED TRIGGER"
"JUMP"

I'm like the Deadpool to their Madcap
I am in control
I won't lie, I have been hearing voices since September telling me things like this.  Am I a psychotic?  Probably not, but hey!  Who doesn't like a nutjob?

The part about the girl at lunch is an Easter egg to a girl that I know who is hard of hearing.
