In time you'll find a lover to fill the emptiness in your bed.

And I too will find another to squeeze this pain from my head.

Goodbye felt like a eulogy and we where the dead.

You telling me you still love me, where the sadist words ever said.

It was the way you loved me
when you loved me
that kept me holding on to the idea of us
long after I felt you had let go.

Monday:
Milk and feed your freaky pretend farm animals.

Wednesday:
Filter **** the **** out of all your photos before posting them to your timeline.

Friday:
Stalk your ex- significant other and their new **** lover.

Saturday:
Blow three sheets to the wind and login
when Facebook asks “What's on your mind”
tell your friends what you're really thinking.

Sunday:
Wake up and read all the misspelled epithets in the rant you wrote about every friend that you pretend to LIKE but really don't.
Finally decide to temporarily deactivate  your account.

My heart skips beats inside my chest
like a child skipping stones across a pond of regrets.
My pillow soaked with tears and sweat,

I’m dreaming of you again. . .

Bare bone
and bathed
in the dawn of
impalpable youth.
The skin I’m in
a canvas begging
to be touched
painted on by an artist
with a passionate brush.
