The King They Couldn't See
HA Dec 2014
What?
I don't know.
Sit down.
Oh.
What now...?
We sit some more.
Okay, why?
I'll read you some lore.
Once in a land where no one can see,
Everyone worshipped a man.
They couldn't know how he looked,
They could only feel his hand.
All the people saw him as a king,
And a magical king was he.
Life was so happy, they could all sing!
Sing about a man they couldn't see.
"Open our eyes, open our eyes!"
They HAD to see their king.
He opened their eyes,
And to their surprise--

Wait! Stop!
Don't you want to know what happens next?
No, don't tell me the rest!
Huh? Why not?
Leave it a mystery, as with life.
**And so they left their story to rot.
