What If
Dean Griffiths Aug 2018
What if the world end tomorrow, what would you do today.
Would you tell someone you love them or just waste the day away?

What if you were alone and had no one to call your own,
Would you yearn for the company, or just for the cause
By fulfilling the desire your heart has lost?

What if the memories you cherish turns out to be a dream.
Would you seek new ones, or make your life a scene for others,
Who are looking, and shares the same dream?

But you might be blind and would not see, that what your
looking for might be a fantasy. You live in silence and act with no fear. But would you know that “true love” is near.

The way you are preview who you can be, and that should never change, cause you’re still special to me.

My Angel
Dean Griffiths Aug 2018
They say angels are true, but if I only knew.
I would believe in fairies and I would believe in you.
Though I seek no compassion for my twisted mind,
I only look for answers but they’re so hard to find.
So now I walk and wonder like I’ve lost my way,
I hope I find an angel that will never let me stray.
Again I take this walk exploring my unhappy thoughts,
and looking for this angel to fill my empty heart.
I hope to see the light, throughout my darkest night;
and my angel with a candle that shine so bright.
To guide me along my way each and every day,
forever I shall keep you so I never go astray.
These are wishful thinking I truly must say,
but for my guardian angel, I will always pray.
